Would like to know if anyone has been treated for LPR with PPI medication. Have you tried more than more one? If so, which worked best? I know every body is different and medication that works for one may not work for another. Just like to hear your experience. I am also aware that GI surgery is sometimes suggested, but it may not last or sometimes is not successful. Please feel free to comment if you have had the surgery. That is a condition where the gastric contents of the stomach do not empty timely into the intestines. If the condition is serious enough and the digestive tract basically does not function the result is vomiting the contents of the stomach. ## These tablets contain 10mgs of Domperidone, which is used to help prevent nausea, and vomiting, as well as to increase intestinal motility. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence, headache, stomach pain, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

Regarding the pill that was asked about, in case anyone else is curious as to what it contains, it is an over the counter product, the manufacturer McNeil lists it as being Pepcid AC, which is used to treat, or prevent heartburn, ulcers, gastritis, and GERD. NDC Code: 16837-0855. It is a 20mg tablet. Is there anything I can help with?

I have only taken this pill twice and I am shaky, nauseous and loss of appetite. I am hoping it is because i am taking this pill. Please advise. ## Have you consulted a doctor? What are the exact directions for use. "By mouth" is not very specific. Swish in mouth? Gargle-if so for how long? Swallow? Doctor went over it quickly and i assumed i'd get instructions at the pharmacy. I did not. ## What are you taking it for? The usage can vary, depending on the reason it is prescribed. What are the indications, contraindications, dosages and side effects of Gelusil? ## From the information I am finding, Gelusil is used to treat heartburn and gas. It contains: 200 mgs of Aluminum Hydroxide, 200mgs of Magnesium Hydroxide and 25mgs of Simethicone. The product packaging says to chew 2 to 4 tablets hourly as symptoms persist or as directed by a physician. will Prilosec show up positive for THC on a UA drug test ## No. Prilosec is not going to show up as anything. Theres no way possible as it is an acid reducer...nothing in it can show up positive for any drug. ## It actually can cause a false positive for THC on a urine drug screen, even the package insert from the manufacture indicates it can cause false positives for THC, marijuana. They would generally then send it for further testing if that was the case though to rule out a "false positive" with a more sophisticated test.

After the Endoscopy, my doctor said that I have mild gastritis and gave Raberparzole plus domerpride capsules for 10 days but my family doctor prescribed me Pylokit for 7 days... What to do ??? ## If you don't have h. pylori, then the Pylokit isn't necessary, because it is used to eradicate that bacteria. How much eno should be given to 5 year old kid to relieve stomach pain? ## ENO is an over the counter antacid containing sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), and citric acid. According to the manufacturer's product page, "ENO powder is indicated for adults and children who are at least 12-years-old." I have been having Razo 20 for last five years early morning.After breakfast and do not have Acidity problem. The day i forget having it i have a problem. I was suffering from IBS and was taking some medicine like Normaxin/Sac-250/Econorm and started feeling well. Now I'm not taking any medication, but still I am not completely fine. Not suffering from IBS but after a few days my stomach starts suffering from indigestion, burning sensation, slight pain.
