I was prescribed Omeprazole dr, 20 mg. my friend takes the same Omeprazole 20 mg, but, it's not dr. she wants to give me what she has left being she was taken off this med. The lido stands for Lidocaine, it's similar to an anesthetic, which is why it numbed your mouth. The other ingredients are Diphenhydramine and Maalox. It's really not harmful, if swallowed, as long as you don't swallow a lot of it, but you may experience nausea, dizziness and diarrhea, as reported by the FDA. Not swallowing it just numbs the mouth, for the most part. How have you been instructed to use it?

what is omp20 ## From what I can derive, it contains 20mgs of Omeprazole, the active ingredient in Prilosec, used to treat conditions such as heartburn and GERD. Sandoz omeprazole is inferior and does not have the same efficacy as other generic omprazole manufactured in the state. The FDA is NOT doing their job to protect Americans from inferior medications produced overseas. RiteAid has turned to maximizing profits over the safety of their customers by purchasing these drugs from manufacturers like Sandoz ## I'm having the same issue with Sandoz omeprazole. CVS changed to this brand in the summer of 2015 and I started experiencing acid reflux problems that very same day. Now again Express Scripts gave me the same Manufacturer's omeprazole 40mg and the very same day I again started having problems.

OMEPRAZOLE 20 mg IS THIS MEDICINE STILL EFFECTIVE & SAFE TO TAKE NOW ? ## It doesn't get dangerous, once it's expired, but it has most likely started to lose some efficacy and won't work as well. The best thing to do would be to dispose of them and pick up some new capsules that would be fully effective. Hi, I took 20 mg Omeprazole, 10 mg Atorvastatin, 25 mg Hydrochlorot, and 5 mg Amlodopine at about 4:00. Then at about 6:30 I forgot I took them and I took all 4 of them again! I also took my regular evening medicines as directed about 8:30. Those are 100 mg Sertraline and 5 mg Lisinipril. Should I do anything...is this harmful this once? ## Hello, Ami! How are you? I just took my first Nexium pill before bed last night. This morning I have horrible diarrhea. I know diarrhea is a side effect. Does anyone else have experience with this? How long did it last? ## Hello, Naomi! How are you? Most side effects are transient and usually go away with time, as your body gets used to the medication, but it may take 3 or 4 weeks. I generally found it only to last a week, or so, for me, when I was taking it. The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, stomach pain and flatulence. I found capsules half orange half blue with the letter O written on the blue and 20 written on the orange, is it possible to find out what they are, I am concerned as they were in my daughters bedroom, thankyou ## They are omeprazole. I am from South-Africa and a breast cancer survivor. Was on Nexium tabs and it did not helped me all the time acid reflux and abdominal pain. I also got a sliding hiatal hernia. From 10/11/2014 on Altosec 20mg ..No more heart burn,no reflux sliding hiatal hernia is better. Side effects none!!! ## Hello, Princess! How are you? I was praying that whoever makes the drug Aciphex would be so kind as to help me out with a coupon or discount or even a months sample. I took this drug for control of my Gerd several years ago when I was insured. It really did the job. I really need it. Thank you! ## Have your doctor write for a generic of another kind of protron inhibitor. They all work pretty much the same and you can save a ton. Or call the company who makes them and ask if they have a drug program to give you a discount on their drug. Most drug companies will help you out somehow.
