I was on Harvoni for 8 weeks (Oct. to Decrmber, 2016). During treatment I experienced euphoria, clumsiness and joint aches. A few days after my last tablet I experienced withdrawal symptoms big time: nausea, sweating, fatigue, weakness. Psychologically I felt different for a while as well.

In time, I believe these symptoms will be incorporated into the manufacturer's reported side effects. Still a new drug so the community boards of consistent side effects are where I am drawing support.

It's now three months post treatment for me and I've been declared cured.

I am very pleased.

I do not recommend Harvoni for patients who care for small children due to the clumsiness and euphoric side effects (during my treatment, I dropped and broke dishes and dropped a carton of milk as though it were funny and could care less. That is not my normal attitude). So I fear that patients on Harvoni could accidentally drop babies/children which I find frightening.

Hi. I've been on hemodialysis for 14yrs. I just finished a 90 day course of Harvoni 6 days ago. Had lots of side effects including headaches, insomnia, fatigue, sweats, chills, pains all over, nausea, runny nose, pain in my hands & arms, muscle cramping. Lost 6kgs in weight. The insomnia and sick feeling is terrible. Like I have lots of energy but especially after hemodialysis treatment I feel like my body is tired but my mind is going. When do these side effects go away? If anyone has any questions feel free ask. Thank you and I pray to the Lord that Harvoni works for all of us. God bless us all.

I felt sick and pain in shoulders for the first 2 wks. of dosing now I am done with 12wk with good news but after 2 days i felt just like an opiate withdrawal right now I feel awful any one have pointers for me?

Finished treatment 10 weeks ago. i went through everything muscle, shoulder, body pain, muscles spasms, headaches depression, panic attacks, frustration, Some days are good feel wonderful energy, then crash later not even stand or walk.
Its body's healing from the ravages of hep C virus. It takes time to recover and rebuild. After 10 wonderful days, again i am feeling sick body pain flu like symptoms. But i know there are improvements after each week.

My advice:
1. Drink lots of water at regular intervals.
2. Eat before you feel hungry.
3. Do some moderate exercise on good days.
4.Get rid of stinking thinking.

I was on harvoni for 8 weeks and since I stopped taking it I've been having constipation and frequent bouts of hiccups and heartburn none of which I had before or during the harvoni. Are these side effects from the harvoni and how do I make them stop? Also no matter how I make the hiccups stop I can't make myself burp. Please help it's driving me nuts! For the past 2 weeks I've been off the harvoni I've been having the hiccups 6-8 times a day! No matter what I eat! Is this normal? And if it is how long does it last?

SAME HERE I AM ABOUT 1\4 THE STRENGHT I HAD VERY FATIGUE HAVE NO PEP AT ALL IF SO IT DOESN'T LAST MORE THAN A COUPLE OF MINUTES , VERY WORRIED I RUINED MY HEALTH I WAS ABLE TO DO SO MUCH MORE WHEN I HAD HEPC THAN I DO NOW HOPE IN TIME IT GETS BETTER I HAVE MUCH TO DO PHYSICALLY I'VE BEEN OFF SINCE 2-2-2017 WAS MY LAST PILL

I m 66 an ex speeder got it in the 70s I am diabetic and I have asthma,low thyroid,a clipped anurism in my brain agoraphobia, panic attacks paranoia etc I take synthroid janumet, blood pressure meds an cholesterol meds clonazepan mirtazepine and Zoloft and I quit speed ,,30, years ago and I am still paying for it too us all may God have mercy on us as we have paid the price. Hi it's definitely worth taking Harvoni. I finished my 12-week therapy on +June 9, 2017; took labs at 4 weeks and again at 12 weeks and no virus is detected. I didn't feel bad during treatment but during the last 3 weeks I started feeling like I do now..exhausted, depressed, sickish feeling in my stomach kind of like I've been on an amusement park ride or hangover, headachy, just want to lay around in my bed (I can't because I'm caring for my 96 year old Dad.), sore throat, I'm glad I'm reading this forum because it helps me to know I'm not alone. I was diagnosed in 2012, took Interferon injections, Ribavirin and Incivek...I was so, so sick. This feeling kind of mimics the way I felt 4 years ago, but on a much, much lower scale. I remind myself that Harvoni is a Very powerful drug and pray that these withdrawal symptoms pass soon. I'm going to continue my aerobics classes 3x per week and daily walking to keep my diabetes and high blood pressure in check. All the best to everyone!

for me Harvoni was NOT a good choice, b4 harvoni I felt great, Now I feel like I have no life at all but physical pain.
I would rather have Hep C back, if I had it to do over I would have never taken harvoni, now I fear the rest of my life will be nothing but pain and suffering and unable to work

Stopped the 12 wk course in April, this year and still feeling mind fogged and didn't even realize that was on of the many side effects of this supposedly miraculous drug. Weight gain off the charts even though I exercise and eat salads like a rabbit. No energy, can't sleep, still blurting things out thoughtlessly, did you know about that side effect?

Harvoni changes our DNA, leaving us with depression and body aches at a maximum. I still have head aches, fatigue, brain fog, ears ringing, severe leg cramps, hips and wrists feel arthritic.
They are not listing all the side effects or long term side effects.
No one is being informed about any of these side effects

I was treated with harvoni for hep C 4 by the end of 2015. My fibroscan was F2-F3 and F0-F1. After almost 2 years of treatment my fibroscan now is F0 (4.5).

I took harvoni 2 years ago when I first started taking it I didn't feel that good but I didn't feel that bad either until the very last part of the treatment when I started tingling all over and feeling very bad very very bad it was so bad I did not want to take any more of the medicine I ended up coming clean of the hep C which was good but I've been experiencing things which I'm not sure if I can contribute to taking that medicine or not but it's worth putting out there. For one thing I don't feel good a lot I experience bad headaches and I can't think straight sometimes I can't even finish a sentence without having to sit there and try to remember what I was going to say. I've also been getting heart palpitations sometimes my heart will beat really fast and then all of a sudden stopped and I feel like my heart is not going to start pumping again and then it does that never happened to me before taking harvoni. And last but not least I cannot seem to gain weight I eat and I eat and I eat and I cannot gain weight I used to run between 135 and 140 when I was eating really good and now no matter what I eat whether it's cheese burgers french fries milkshakes and cookie dough I stay thin a sickly thin!!! Sometimes I wonder if that's what somebody with cancer feels like. Hope what I said help somebody else too.

I too took 12 weeks Harvoni and wish I had not. I would rather have Hep C back. I am 2 1/2 years post treatment and suffer daily constant pain and symptoms I never had before treatment. If only I could go back. Anyone having side effects, please report them to the FDA. Nobody is talking about all our horrors except us but at some point they will pay for our suffering.....karma.... I have a list of side effects from an FDA report if anyone wants to see them. {edited for privacy}

I was on harvoni for 8 weeks. I am 63 yrs old. Could not believe this virus layed dormant inside me for so many years. Anyways, I handled the harvoni side effects that were not too bad. I'm off the treatment now, not quite 2 weeks out and I do not feel right, no motivation at all, very irritable, but sleeping ok. Anybody else feeling the same?
