Gout Maintenance
UpdatedI get gout. Whats better for keeping it down, naproxen 500mg or indomethacin 50mg? Also how much % of antinflamatory is in the naproxen 500mg?

Because both of these medications are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), their effectiveness is going to depend upon a comparable dosage to one-another as well as the way your body responds to each medication.
Personally, I would look into natural remedies (such as essential oils) as a treatment option, simply due to the fact that there are little or no side effects in comparison to pharmaceutical drugs.
As to how much % of anti-inflamatory is in the Naproxen, I don't have an answer to that. Have you tried either of those medications yet to see how well each one helps?
