Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 13) (Top voted first)
UpdatedIt's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?
Re: olddog (# 550)
I think the same.
These drug companies are being forced by the government and the courts to water down the opioid painkillers so much that you need
2-3 of them and even then, they only last about 4 hours.
Yes indeed they are so weak they give me this weak atuff all the time if I ask for the ye llow one I'm afraid They will call the police. Ithink they keep it them for themselves
Well my doc moved me from 2 10/325 norcos a day to 2 MSContin 30 mg a day. Haven't taken the MS yet. Anyone have any info on them? Experiance? Thanks - Flats
I spoke with a friend who has chronic pain and takes generic Norco. He found that Costco carries the Watson brand and he says it works fine. I am using our mail order pharmacy now for a 90-day supply and it is due to arrive today. We will see....
Cvs is the only ones. That still have them. Check with them i have went everywhere.
I don't understand at all what this person is trying to say in English.
I have been prescribed Hydroco/Apap, generic for Norco and it is a joke. I take two tabs, 7.5-325, approx. every 6 hours or more and get about an hours relief. Recently I switched back to Tramadol HCL 50mg tab amn. I take one tab twice a day and get infinitely more relief than I do from Norco and it is about $8.00 for60 tabs. Also. The doctor can phone in the script and I don't need to go to his office to pick it up. I'm taking the meds because of two botched up surgeries in the neck for a pinched nerve. Thankfully I had some Tramadol for a recent knee surgery and the pharmacist assured me I can switch with no problems.
Wow, thanks for the explanation. It certainly gives us a lot of information. As I said before, I am required now to use the mail-order pharmacy, Express Scripts to fill all of my recurring monthly prescriptions. In doing so, my doctor gives me a 90-day prescription written indicating "Qualitest brand only, no substitutions." It has worked thus far, and I don't have to do the pharmacy shopping thing each month. I highly recommend that anyone whose insurance covers Express Scripts to use them. They mail it express overnight and I sign for it at my local post office. I know these recent changes in classes of meds is just a way for the government to further control the healthcare industry, and it will only get worse until things are changed by whomever will be in charge the next time around. It may not change enough, so people need to realize how much control the government is exerting over our healthcare and try to do what we can to police the industry and be smart consumers. I hope this helps.
I think what he is trying to say is our drugs come from another country because there cheaper to manufacture. And in these other countrys some of them don't have power or good water so you never know what you are getting it depends on the kind of day there having.

Thank you for answering. There really is no improvement with all of the tests.
Two siblings had spinal surgery for herniated discs and they are in the same amount of pain as before the surgery. You are fortunate you have a doctor that cares about you. The new laws have scared many doctors away.
I plan to see my family doctor and ask him what I can do. I worry because he is retirement age.
Wow..I surprised u get urs filled thru Express Scripts.. I do not get get any of my meds filled thru them from pain management.. I get mine every 30 days.. Dr won't do 90 day..Express Scripts charges me $50 co pay for all 3 of my inhalers monthly...Drug Emporium charges $30 each for 2 and 1 free with coupon. I do not like Express Scripts. Fortunately I've been able to keep filling all my prescriptions through Drug Emporium.. Much cheaper..have a nice day
It must depend on your insurance company. Mine is excellent (thank goodness) and they allow the 90-days at $$10.
i've been taking norco 325/10 for years. i looked at my pill. it says 367 and is white. haven't had any problems. i'm prescribed 2 a day but break them in half and take 1/2 at a time. i usually don't need pain meds while i'm sleeping so 4 halves is enough for me.
I am having that very same problem? It is really frustrating. And I just do not know what to do no pain relief. Please help, in total pain all the time!
Ok, I will try this first next time. But until then, I can not take them at all!

I use 4 10/325 generic Norco per day. I've been using them for over 8yrs now. I don't abuse them because they work and I don't want to have to move up to anything stronger. Can you notice a difference between brands of generic Norco's? Yes you can and I'm not lying to you. I almost always had the Watson yellow 10/325 until they were bought out. I've been using yellow ones with a check mark on them, qualitest? I believe. One time I got the white M-367 and they relieved my pain just like the others but I noticed they did not last as long and made me a bit woosy. I have trouble with my legs and balance is everything with me. There is a very noticable difference to some folks. Why, not sure as there could be many reasons on any given day.
Ask your doctor about the 'Butrans transdermal patch'. You have to be patient with it, as it will take you some time to figure out how to get it to stay on for a week, and the medication itself takes a bit more time before it's actually effective. My doctor and I have been experimenting with it for almost a year now, as a safer alternative to the Norco, and just in the past month has it really started working properly...I'm currently (successfully) tapering off the hydrocodone, but still having my pain managed, and best of all: I've experienced ZERO side-effects from the Butrans. Furthermore, I actually can sleep through the night, and I don't wake up in disabling pain. Personally, I don't know why this isn't used more for those of us who are actually in pain, because every doctor and pharmacist I've spoken with believes it to be a safer alternative for CHRONIC pain! Hope this helps!
The actual medication in the Butrans is Buprenorphine. I found that researchers back in the 1960s were looking for an alternative to morphine--one that had the benefits of morphine, but did not have the draw backs of morphine (I.e., physical dependence). The result was a semi-synthetic opioid, called Buprenorphine. It was used in Europe for chronic pain before the FDA approved it for the same use in the USA (about 5 years ago). However, the FDA approved it's use as a treatment for opioid-addicts well before they approved it for chronic pain. The same drug is found in Suboxone, which is usually the last step in getting addicts off of opioids. But, unlike the Suboxone, Butrans contains a much smaller amount/dosage of the drug, and is delivered through the patch/skin every hour. The only skin irritation I've had from it was when I used a different tape to secure it to my skin, other than that, I've had no other reactions to it. Also, when the FDA made Norco, etc. higher controlled substances, they left the Butrans in the lower controlled class, so your doctor can still call it in.
that's correct I have to take 3 as wellI get the white ones as well the yellow worked way more betterand it had a more lasting effect.I'm going to tell my pain management doctor next month when I go if I can get the yellow ones back
Just filled a Norco 325/10 I've been on it for 3 years for back pain.
I was getting the yellow pills up till now, this time they gave me m367 white pill
I take 2 every 4 to 6 hours the yellow pills were fine. the m367 pills the first time I
tried it because I take them one hour before I get up so I can get dressed easyer
in the morning. these m267 pill had no effect or very little. not shure what to do
take it back take it to the doc and ask for a new script or just put up with for 30 days
this is really screwed up I'm not able to do the work I did. I can't believe the
difference in a name which makes me wonder about other pills like antibiotics. I
take 6 a day of the yellow but if I want the same pain relief I have to take 10 a day
I got the m367 s Rite Aid this time because the other store I normaly go to did not have the stock
in short this is junk and a waist of money
