General Care Provider That Prescribes Adderall And Xanax In Wisconsin.
UpdatedHey, I have been prescribed adderall for the last 10 years, but recently I was abruptly cut off. This was due to an illegal invasion of my privacy, and I have severe add/adhd. As a result, I'm about to lose my college investment. I also am in a methadone maintenance program, but I desperately need my add meds. back to regain my executive functioning skills. I have never abused my adderall and my records concur. Is there a recommended doctor in eastern Wisconsin that will prescribe adderall and xanax in conjunction with one another? In addition, they must be ok with prescribing to a patient already is in a methadone program, due to an opiate addiction. I have severe anxiety as well, and I was just about to graduate with a dual-degree from a prestigious university until I was abruptly cut off of everything. As a result, I've almost failed out for good and I'm falling fast. Can anyone offer a recommendation from past experience? Thank you kindly and best wishes. North eastern Wisconsin would also work and including Minnesota.
Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics).
Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach in my opinion, is to discuss up front and honestly what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. Most doctors will take it under consideration and hear you out if you approach them in this manner. I believe a lot of patients don't get the medication they need because they are approaching the doctor in such a needy way that they are being viewed as addicts or junkies with "drug seeking behavior" and not regular patients. So as awkward as that may seem, it is something to consider and be made aware of, because sadly enough, that is how many close-minded doctors tend to think.
As to finding a new doctor for your adhd medications, the link below lists a handful of doctors you can try contacting for an appointment:

I hope this helps is any way!
I can recommend a doc in Sheboygan...
Who is it? I just got cut off my adderall n xanax. Email me at {edited for privacy}
Can u please tell me the name of the dr in Sheboygan? No drs will prescribe either drug in Stevens Point, so I've had to self medicate and am very depressed.
Which doctor in sheboygan will prescribe adderall? I really need it
Who is the doc ? Ekosh25 at the google email.
WI law allows doctors here to only prescribe Adderrall, ritalin, etc for those diagnosised ADHD. If you are ADHD, like me, psychiatrist will I think. Doctors in Sheboygan are in general just difficult. I recommend Dr. C. Baxter for mental health. I take Adderall 30mgs bid. At the same time I see eventually myself getting all Milwaukee based doctors because Sheboygan doctors are just conservative, to controlling, and seem only concerned about themselves.
Hey read your situation,I am also opiate addict, with severe adult ADHD,what you need to do is get off the methadone.and start suboxone.my pdoc cut my adderall when he found out I was opiate addict. But even with suboxone helping me I had my other symptoms depression, anxiety,no motivation,un social, still pretty miserable. Finally my Dr made a deal with me,he said I will treat your ADHD which is causing all your bad symptoms .So I am 37 and he brought my mother back to talk to her.now he would not do adderall but he put me on vyvanse started at 20 now on 50mg, the deal was my mom has to bring meds too me every morning and keep bottles at her house. also do drug checks anytime. But I am so grateful.i don't even mind. so I take 8mg suboxone,50mg vyvanse,1mg klonopin t.i.d.,and Zoloft. my one point is if you have to make a deal with Dr ,and I have been through methadone withdrawal, and if I was you I would switch to suboxone. you don't have to go but once a month,I think it would help with you getting ADHD treatment back. you need to explain I'm dealing with opiate addiction but still need treatment for coexisting conditions.and tell him you are willing to try vyvanse,it is basically Dexedrine,so its stimulate, doctors like to give it cause you can't abuse it like adderall, and other stimulates to feel high. you have to take it by mouth. It breaks down in digestive system turns into Dexedrine.anyway I wish you luck
Hi Simon,
I'm almost in the same boat as you my dear. My doc prescribes me suboxone 8mg and 2mg xanax's (2 bars a day)and was prescribed adderall 20mg's (1 a day) over a year ago. now, after he found out that I'm engaged to be married, he wants to cut me off my meds? He's a 70+ year old doctor, has actually kissed me before (believe me, i was in shock) 31 years old here??? put me on colotopin my last visit, and i have went out of my mind, literally! i go back tomorrow, I am willing to cut down on my meds but It's not legal to cut someone off their meds after 6 years of never saying anything about cutting down them down n then just u get no more off the rip. I have severe seizures when i dont' have my xanax's any suggestions on what to do here peeps, like i said, WILLING TO CUT DOWN, NP
Hillie, what pharmacy do you use to fill your prescription of xanax? I recently have been cut off, cold turkey. Can't believe a doctor could do that.

Simon,
My friend, You are High Risk. With the way things are today you may be hard pressed to find a Dr will to psb any Sch 1 narcs to you. For good reason. You like your drugz. Most likely this is the reason you were Cut Off the Addi. An "illegal search" you spoke about may shed some light on the issue. Did they find a Bag of Meth? Maybe Slinging a few addi's in UNMARKED bottles? Loose units will be a red flag. Your drug problem has to be taking into account by any Dr who wants to stay a Dr. I hate to be Harsh but after reading your (Red Flags Everywhere) post just maybe a few details you left out. Yes? You forgot the maybe. Its all good. I know no Dr in the US that can help you Re-Up.
I grew up in Racine Cty. Not that this will help but i recently mod frm CT to FL & have been on Adderall & Xanax for years for PTSD & ADD; & have a 66.5% sleep deficiency. On Feb 25, 2015 i was hit by a car & left w/ 5 herniated & 2 bulging discs in my neck & spine & have been trying my best to function w/ out the pain meds. But the pain mgt Dr my orthpedic surgeon insist i go to has a problem w/ the fact that ive been being treated w/ the other two meds w/ have nothing to do with her treating me. Additionally I have been to (8) different colleges; but have been w/ out my adderall for some time now. I finally find a Sleep Dr who prescribes Add.& waited 2 wks to see and now he says he won't take the LOP he said he would so I am back to square one...
I'm outside of Milwaukee and have similar issues in finding a good doctor to prescribe me the meds that stop my panic attacks. It sukcs that they have become so tight now, with people ruining it for us that need it. Feel free to share your experiences with me to keep me strong.
I'll take your help with the Dr in Sheboygan. And who is he through?

I’m prescribed Adderall and Xanax, as well as Suboxone. In my view, Methadone is the worst drug you could ever take from any opiates I know. A friend of mine took 60 days to wean off Methadone. He described it as the most intense pain he's ever experienced. The recidivism rate in Wisconsin and across the United States reveals most people who try to quit Methadone end up relapsing. The success rate of tapering off Methadone is only about 2%. That's why I never tried it myself. The withdrawal period lasts 60 days and the impact on your body is severe. In fact, Methadone gradually deteriorates your bones.
Doctors nowadays are increasingly prescribing Adderall for ADHD and Xanax. If you have been on medication for some time and you’re not prone to abuse, you can still be prescribed Suboxone. I personally rarely use Xanax or Adderall. Suboxone seems to act like an Adderall for me, and Xanax is an absolute miracle drug. The withdrawal period from Suboxone is purported to be 30 days, however, I once had to go to jail for 90 days and I managed to quit it cold turkey in about a week; having been on it for almost a year. I was surprisingly okay within a week of being in jail. The withdrawal symptoms, although evident, were nowhere near as terrible as those from methadone and other opiates.
Methadone has many adverse effects; it eats away at your bones, causes hair loss, and is almost impossible to quit. It seems like a money-making scheme to me, where the government benefits from your state insurance. In my opinion, it constitutes nothing more than a scam. All of my friends who have been on Methadone have either reverted to other opioids, become bored with it, or they’ve tried to quit only to be driven back due to the unbearable withdrawal symptoms.
If you're on Methadone, you should try to stop as soon as possible. The longer you stay on it, the more intense your withdrawal symptoms will be. From personal experience, I can tell you that a small dose of Xanax might help you get through the withdrawal phase. If you're skeptical about Suboxone, you might want to consider Kratom, which is legal in some states including Illinois. After coming off Suboxone myself, I usually take a half tablespoon of Kratom three times a day, which has helped me immensely. I'm now able to maintain a stable job, go to the gym regularly, and I even make over 100 grand a year. Having recovered from drug addiction, I can say that if I can do it, so can you.
