is it ok to use on burns
This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs.
The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
One product we found is called Gelmicin, a topical antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and antifungal. These products are normally sold separately in the US, whether for increased profitability or what I do not know. The key ingredients are Gentamycin (antibiotic), Clotrimazole (antifungal) and Betamethasone (anti-itch and anti-inflammatory). Good for whatever ails you.
I use gelmicin on my 4 year old. he gets like a rash in the fold of his arm. i've told his doctor about it but he said it was baby eczema and that it should go away, well it comes back every year around the same time. I asked my grandma and she recommended Gelmicin she brought it from Mexico. well his rash goes away in a matter of 2 days... i think its wonderful.
Delores, this is too strong and the wrong medicine for your 4 year old. Go back to your doctor. (Eczema is a chronic disease that recurs.)
I use it too and works wonderfully.
Acnem, Gelmicin it's not for acne
You can find more information about Gelmicin on this link (spanish) http://www.libreriamedica8a.com/productos/1205.htm
From the translated version of the spanish link:
"GELMICIN Cream is indicated for the topical treatment of the following dermal infections: tinea corporis, tinea cruris and tinea pedis due to Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum and Microsporum canis; candidiasis due to Candida albicans.
Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent used to treat skin infections caused by several species of pathogenic dermatophytes, yeasts and Malassezia furfur.
The main action of clotrimazole is against dividing and growing organisms. Furthermore, it appears that clotrimazole acts on the fungal cell membrane, causing the output of the cell contents.
Betamethasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid effective in the treatment of dermatoses that respond to steroid therapy because of its anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive. As is typical for corticosteroids, betamethasone dipropionate is absorbed through the skin, is reversibly bound to plasma proteins, is metabolized in liver and extrahepatic sites giving virtually inactive substances and is excreted almost completely within 72 hours via the kidney.
Adverse reactions caused by clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate used concomitantly are rare and include paresthesias, maculopapular rash, edema and secondary infection.
Adverse reactions reported with the use of clotrimazole include erythema, burning, ampulacion, desquamation, edema, pruritus, urticaria and general irritation of the skin."
Can I use it on severe exzima
I love this medicine it's the best!!
I have used Gelmicin on Eczema, psoriasis, diaper rash, and jock itch for my son and it works. Problem went away in 2 days and doesn't come back for months.
I bring this gelmicin from tijuana, mexico cost $3.75 in dollars.
very good prodact
Gelmicin is awesome! I have four piercings, and whenever they get infected I use Gelmicin, and it heals it overnight. Ocean Spray (sea salt) doesn't work as well as this. My nose piercing always gives me problems, so when I see a bump starting to grow, I slap Gelmicin on it, and the bump goes away the next day, or sooner. What motivated me to post here, was that I had this weird rash on my neck, and it wouldn't go away. So I decided put some Gelmicin on it last night, and today saw a huge improvement. The rash does not itch anymore, and its visibility has gone down. My parents bought Gelmicin in Mexico, and because it helped them a lot, the next time they went they bought in bulk! I was only given two tubes, lost the other one, and can't find where my parents stashed the rest. They probably used them all, so as soon I run out, I'm going to Reynosa or Progreso, and buying as much as I can.
This is a wonderful product. My daughter is fair skinned and usually gets a little rash from the sun. When we were in Mexico several years ago a pharmacist recommended it. It works wonders! We never leave home without it
The downside is that it is only $5.00 in mexico. When I ordered it at home is $ 17.00
How can I order Gelmicin on line and have it shipped to me here in California?
i tried and it worked wounder for me... just make sure you use it at night after washing your face and wash it off in the morning... and a void as much direct sunlight as you can. you should be all clear of acne in 2 weeks tops.
my baby has severe eczema should I used on him???
Juan, take your baby to the Doctor first. If you must, you should first only use very little cream in a small area of your baby's body, just to test it out, and wait 2 to 3 weeks to see if there's any bad reaction.
WRONG Linda, it clears up the ecema on kids very well. It went away completely in 2 days, and stayed away. 6 years old. This stuff works !!!
Im wondering if women can use it for vaginal itching.

I used it on my 3 year old 3 years ago. He is six now. I used it only twice on his eczema. I have a cousin in El Salvador that is a dr. And she recommended it but use very little. The eczema complete went away. It’s very strong use a very very small amount.
