Galvus Met 50 500 Dosage

Galvus Met 50/500, I am taking before breakfast as prescribed by a physician since one year but One cardiologist suggests to have it after breakfast. My questions is when it should be taken before breakfast or after breakfast ?

Normally, these types of medications are taken just before a meal, that way they have a chance to start working by the time you are actually digesting the meal and you would experience the greatest blood sugar elevations.


What instructions has the prescribing doctor given you?

If they are the one treating your diabetes, then they are the one's whose instructions you should follow.
