I have Huntingtons accompanied by neuropathy which is causing excruciating, widespread pain. My pain manager is telling me that in Tennessee they are being required to reduce patient's dosage. As my disease progresses the pain increases. As my disease symptoms increase the pain med dosage is decreasing and life continues to be quite the challenge. Does anyone know a good doctor or pain manager in my area? ## Hello, Eric! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Does the pill ig322 300 mg yellow capsule have withdrawal side effects if taken for a week or a little longer ## Hello, R2girl! How are you? This capsule contains 300mgs of Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. If you've only been on it for a week, there shouldn't be any issues with stopping it, but it would be best to check with your doctor, first. If you were taking high doses of it, there can be a slight risk of seizures and rebound pain from stopping it cold turkey, but those usually only occur with long-term use. Is there anything else I can help with?

I wanted to get verication if these pills r stronger then tylonol 3 or 4 ## Hello, Kevin! How are you doing? No, Gabapentin is actually an anticonvulsant that has been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain. Thus, it does not work like a regular analgesic, because it takes several weeks for it to reach its full level of effectiveness in your body to alleviate pain. The Tylenol contains Codeine, which will start to alleviate pain shortly after you take it and which is an actual narcotic analgesic. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or concerns?
