This capsule contains 300mgs of Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. If you've only been on it for a week, there shouldn't be any issues with stopping it, but it would be best to check with your doctor, first.

If you were taking high doses of it, there can be a slight risk of seizures and rebound pain from stopping it cold turkey, but those usually only occur with long-term use.
