Using Gabapentin

I have been on gabapentin for about 2 weeks. First 3 days i was a zombie, didnt even kno where i was. It was crazy. After that, i felt nothing weird. Before i was on it, i literally couldnt sit still anymore. I had pain, itching, crawling, in my arms and legs. I wanted to pull my limbs off. Now i can actually sit. I cant believe the difference. I feel no bad side effects except i wanna eat alot. and im gassy.

It is an anticonvulsant that can also help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. Typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, mood swings and weight changes.

Usually, the side effects will hit a peak at about 3 to 4 weeks in, then start to taper off in severity, which is around the same time that the medication will reach its full level of efficacy in your body.
