I NEED ONE TOO! PLEASE HELP!
Contrary to what many people believe, Soma is just a muscle relaxant, it is not a narcotic analgesic, therefore, you don't need a specific type of doctor to prescribe it. Any doctor can do so, as long as you have a legitimate need for it.
You can learn more Soma details here.
Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth.
Can anyone recommend a good doctor in the area?
thanks eddy ! youre right- i was not.
Global Neuro & Spine at 121 W. Underwood will write for Soma.... I used to go here and get it with refills! Good luck.
So I have a question then. I have had 2 major back fisions done. And flexeril did nothing a few yrs back soma 350 is what they gave me. Which has worked perfectly. I now have a neurostem im plant for pain in the surgery area as of this may. Now when gling back to pain clinic they are still giving barely any meds which is fine. (Norco 7.5 325.)I don't hardly use it much. But do need some here and there. But had relied on soma still for my spasm and some of.the tension and pain in back. Now when I called for new prescription.. my cnp called the doc in charge and he says can't give it now. Why would he do that and say they will.switch to something called baclofen( I think was the name). When soma worked and by the way. I hardly used soma unless I got.bad. I have no history of drugs, and no history or anything illegal ever. The cnp knows this but the doctor doesn't know me that's in charge. So can anybody tell me what changed if anything ?heck I haven't even called for it since like 7 months ago!-so.irritated!

Yes Matty much has changed. After years of controversy Soma has been changed to a Schedule 4 substance. While many doctors will still prescribe it, most wont!
I wanted to ask if anybody knows of a doctor in the Orlando area who will prescribe like 2 mg Xanax without any problems or like you know giving you the third degree or whatever eye doctor that is you know pretty liberal and not a big deal to just write a script for it I used to be on it for years and I've just found doctor after Doctor Who like, you always have to come up with a story and feel guilty for the reason that you actually really do need it so I'm just seeing if there is a doctor that I could go to that you know what easily give me that prescription
Re: Shelly (# 9)
Honestly, Shelly, you couldn't be in a worse state for obtaining pain meds, benzos, & Soma. Remember all those Strip Mall fake pain clinics that popped up after 2010, they wrecked it for many in Florida and the South. I remember ordering from an actual Pharmacy with no Prescription in Key West 20 years ago, it was $50 a bottle and worth every penny of it. Now I pay $6.00 out here in the West, found a great older Doctor.
No one mentioned Soma was a narcotic, nor was anyone asking for a specific type of Doctor for Soma?
