Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

I WANNA SEE THAT VID! LoL! Where can I find it? I had a Dr that was prescribing Norco 10/325 1-2 tabs every 4-6 hours for herniated discs in my neck and lower back for close to a couple years. During the course of that couple years I had surgery replacing a disc and fusing 2 in my neck then 3 months later a surgery fixing a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder by placing an anchor in there. The surgeons then took over my pain management for 3 months for each surgery. After the 3 months I returned to my PCP for further pain management. After a few months of this my Dr fired me along with a large group of other patients that were on narcotic pain killers. (I know this because a nurse that no longer works at that office told me about the mass firings.) It has been a year since my surgeries and I have been in double the pain in my neck than I was before (it feels like something is constantly poking me at the base of my head) and still having pain in my lower back and now have pain running down both legs, knees and feet to the point that it is impossible for me to function. I CANNOT find a Dr ANYWHERE that cares enough to prescribe ANYTHING for pain relief and basicly treat me like a druggie! I was even referred to a pain clinic where the Dr will ONLY do epidural injections in my lower back. The last time I had one I developed a dural puncture and suffered debilitating headaches 24/7 for 3 1/2 weeks straight! So obviously I refuse to get another epidural. That Dr WILL NOT prescribe anything for pain because he says he has too many other patients he has to monitor. My new PCP says it's a copout way of saying he doesn't trust me. I'm almost to the point of eating a bullet because I am so miserable and tired of how much of a horrible person I've turned into and how horrible I treat my daughter, family, friends and coworkers. I'm almost at my breaking point and don't know what to do! I've even told my Dr that in the past pain killers such as oxy (which in my opinion are worse than Norco) don't even help and that I found that Norco is the only thing that does help! What can I do??? Where can I turn??? This whole pain killer epidemic makes me so furious!!! Here I am watching a show on Nat Geo about DEA agents hunting cocaine runners from Columbia thinking to myself "Now THAT'S what they need to be worried about!! Not people that suffer chronic pain and need to get their prescriptions filled!!!" These pharms and Dr's and politicians need to get their priorities in order!!!

I'm having a terrible time going through withdrawals from Cymbalta samples my doctor gave me. Even though the blood is clear of the drug, it is stored in the fatty tissues of the brain, and that is what is causing my continual withdrawal process.

The reason for the samples is the refusals of Sarasota pharmacies to fill the same scripts I have been on for SEVEN YEARS. I have to try other drugs, and I am on day 5 of NIGHT TERRORS every time I fall asleep. Even if it is for 20 minutes! I wake up like I was in the middle of a heart attack, but my vitals are always normal.

And I can't move the pain in my back is 11+. And this month the doctor found that my T vertebra are going. I have had 3 back surgeries, my complete lumbar fused, and MRI's showing failed fusion on multiple levels, 2 screws loose, one breached outside wall of L3, and a mass of fluid that is HA-MRSA surrounding my surgical site. Multi-levels of blown discs (now in old surgical areas) and massive constriction in multiple facet joints.

And both sciatic nerve canals are pinched. All this from a high-speed car accident (rear-ended by a vehicle exceeding highway speeds).

Is there anyone out there considering a class action lawsuit against the pharmacies? I see them prescribing OXY and Morphine for others, so why am I and others singled out?

Man I pay 250 for my useless doctors appointment in miami on Christmas Eve and I go to the same cvs and have been for a year straight. Well the was pharmacist is I'm vacation just as he was for thanksgiving well since he's been on vacation I have been suffering with 12 hern. discs from playing college ball and a car accident just funny how they have them ever time but now my pharmacist is on vacation so I must withdraw this Christmas cool oh and corporate stands behind the decision to not fill regardless of my consistent use of there pharmacy makes me furious especially because the pharmacist in duty would not look at me rather look down the hole time while saying they don't carry soma or oxy...

i cant get my meds ive been on for the last 12 years 6 of which are at same pharmacy and now the old pharmacist i knew is gone(retired) and the new lady hates me and looks evil! she says percocets are too strong and wont even order those. no c2 scripts she says to me period even though ive been ther 6 years. im so distraught.,
i said to her lady how longs it been since YOUVE BEEN LAID! CAUSE YOUR ACTING like my old gma when she use to babysit me 30 years ago and she was a manhater too. and walked out and she just looked at me. look on youtube i filmed entire incident and made her look like a b**** like she is and going to send to corporate cvs. she gonna lose her job. when i show her the video, she panicked and i said too late its all here and posting tonight on youtube and your the star and gonna be the most hated pharmacist in usa by tomorrow

If you are going to try Walmart make sure you go on a friday night or Satuday morning. They get thier shipment in on Fridays and they run out very fast. It may vary on each seperate Walmart but try and find someone who is nice enough to tell you when they receive thier shipment.

My doctor has finally set me up with a pharmacy who was taking new patients. I was lucky enough to be the second one to sign up with them. After 6 months of torture I finally got lucky. So hang in there.

BUT MEDICARE DOES NOT PAY FOR MY OFFICE VISIT,JUST MY MEDS, THERE IS PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR THAT TAKES MEDICARE, HE'S JUST TO FAR AWAY FROM ME, HIS NAME IS DR JOSE TORRES

I DO NOT HAVE AN HMO, I HAVE PART A, B, & D, ALSO MEDICAID...
IN THE BOOK THEY SEND ME EVERY YEAR IT TELLS ME WHAT MEDICATIONS ARE COVERED AND HOW MANY

Dee... thanks for the research on Medicare... I have a Meicare HMO and they do not cover cash doctors.... maybe I should check into it more. My doc has a notice posted that Medicade has this policy. Maybe the Pharm is confused between the two.

I CALLED MEDICARE ON THIS ONE & THEY SAID IT WAS OK IF I WENT TO A CASH DOCTOR, IT DID NOT MATTER, AS LONG AS THEY COVERED THAT MEDICINE, IT SHOULD NOT MATTER WHAT DOCTOR I GO TO EVEN IF THEY TAKE CASH ONLY!! WALGREENS HAS BEEN FILLING RHEM FOR YEARS,WITH MY CASH DOCTOR, & MEDICARE HAS BEEN PAYING FOR THEM!!

Dee... it is against the law to file your insurance/Medicare if your doc is cash only.... however, the pharmacy has to charge you cash for the script.... not refuse it completely.... definitely report this.

I had a similar problem when my doc, although in a different town, was only 6 miles from the store. I wrote a letter to the corporate office of Walgreen's - Customer Relations Dept. and they called me.... I had them refer my letter to the District Manager of Pharmacy and he called me. He said that although they do have a geographic criteria, some discretion should be used and in a situation as mine, I was unfairly treated. He apologized and assured me he would take care of the problem.

I have misplaced their addy, but call them and they will give it to you. The more of you that will call/write them the better. They can't help the problems with the DEA right now, but they do have a new distributor ( Their Jupiter, FL plant is still on restriction) and can get the medication. He said it is NOT THE POLICY OF Walgreen's to LIE or treat the customer without respect. Any case of this happening should be reported. The more complaints they get the more likely that they will do something about it.

They are under severe scrutiny of the DEA and are very careful.... any of their pharmacist can refuse to fill a narcotic script, but it is base on their FEAR of the DEA.... not so much the policy.

Report how you are being treated to them directly.... then tell us about it and how it was handled.

Hello, from your post I'm just assuming your a pharmasist, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me, do you know of such a law that would prohibit a pharmacy from filling my c2 prescription because me doc. is cash only and does not take me insurance which is medicare. I have been going to the samw walgreens for over 3 years now, I don't go anywhere else to fill any other meds from my other doctors, & last month my favorite pharmist told me they could no longer fill for me due to the reason i stated above..Any answers would be greatly appreciated!! thanks dee
