Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.
good heavens sorry for sturring up the pot I didn't know that there was so much difference in pricing but I guess my condition really has messed up my memory. But really what difference does it really make to have the nasty responses to someone's post because that is what they have experience. Again forgive for stirring up so much bad feelings. I will get off the site just so I don't another mistake like this again. You know I guess when someone is dying it really doesn't matter does it?
I am not sure where you live and I wouldn't dream of calling you names. Please realize I am posting information about my personal experience. As stated, I was left without the paper prescriptions needed to fill anywhere when Right Source returned them. I can post the letter if you like. You are incredibly judgmental and happen to be very wrong about me. I suppose its people like you have have been dealing with and what has contributed to the bad situation many of us are experiencing.
Its funny you think I'm stupid. Maybe, I actually thought I could believe what pharmacies told me and the DEA agents I spoke to Naturally everyone points the finger at the other person. I am surprised at the attitude of the people here however. I have done my homework, I have called Right Source, Humana, my senator and whoever I could. You think I'm stupid (which is rude) but if you needed an advocate you would wish you had someone as STUPID as I am in your corner. I wonder if any of you are for real now,
listen to *Goodday... Ron is putting BS on this site... it is outrageous what he has said... don't believe it. As if 12-1500 isnt bad enough....

ron@ wow, sorry to hear that about the prices. i get 120 80mg oxycontin and roxicodone for breakthru and the total is 1200/month no insurance. if you pay cash purdue has patient assistance and they help cover some of my costs. also fyi-they are releasing generic oxycontin april 2013 in usa and is available already in canada so prices should drop on the oxycontin soon if you switch to generics.
I get 270 of the 80mg 90 of 40mg and the prices we have gotten run 8 to 10 thousand a month. and when I had to use the fentynal suckers those dangerous things cost my insurance co 10 thousand a month for which they were not happy. but now I have no insurance.
ron@ first you say 8 grand a month(total bs) now your saying 10 grand a month(again total bs) those are street drug dealer prices. stop putting bad info on site. its hard enough to deal with all this much less have someone worrying about your bad info. a cash paying oxycontin for 120 80mg tabs brand is 1200.00 a month and thats twice the amount any doctor would write you.
PEOPLE DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND you will see ron is full of sh..t!
talk to your doctor about the assistance program that PURDUE offers. I have been using it for 14 years because I don't make enough money to cover 10,000.00 a month for my oxycotin. all you have to do is have your doctor get the forms both of you have to fill out the form send it into PURDUE and see if they approve you.
The problem with people getting oxy 30, #180, or what have you, is the street diversion factor. Too many people are selling the drugs. It's what police find on criminals. Use a controlled release medication or better yet, get off the meds, and/or cut down to decrease your tolerance. It's not impossible, is just really really hard. There are natural ways to combat pain. Eating a clean healthy diet and doing as much PT as possible/tolerable. But what is clean and healthy? Most people don't understand how to eat clean/healthy. Research paleo diets, i.e. The Primal Blueprint. Eat grass/fed, grass finished meat, coconut oil, MCToil. Fresh vegetables, cut grains. The more you do these things, the easier the pain will be to manage. Do the research. Pills are the end all last resort solution. If you find you need a controlled/narcotic pill to function during the day, something is wrong with that whole approach. Unless you're on your death bed, there are better ways. And if you're a man of Jesus, just suffer, He did. Do it for Him.
I'm a retain pharmacist, all pain addicts act the same. They're all professional liars and play the sympathy card every time. Been doing this for 13+ years. All we care about is keeping our license. Keep it legal, don't sell it, Keep it morally sound. Don't get pills to get high, etc. And you'll be okay.
I called my insurance co. A few weeks ago and requested pain management in my area--upon calling the numbers provided i learned they are all Interventional Pain Management and injection happy--injections are what put me in the ER twice in one week and discharged from a great pain management and subsequently admitted into hospital with deep vein thrombosis , now new pain management wants to repeat that nightmare. I called i surance again and complained about what happened AND complained about the numbers they gave me and requested Basic Pain Management. They told me they had me on file as one who seeks pills! Considering other methods practically killed me, Duh! Of course I. Seeking Medication! When i had proper medication I was able to go to school, volunteer, and climb in my truck, climb up and down the steps where I live (on second floor), and had a quality of life that I' ve not had since. Doctor shopping is no different than getting a second opinion on any other medical condition, as for using different pharmacies; hey! If my normal grocery store is out of a product or another one has the item on sale, duh! Which one should i go to (insurance wont pay for entire prescription) some pharmacies even mail coupons for % off item if you switch pharmacies so this black listing crap needs to stop! as long as im only getting o e ER and one breakthrough, let me live a normal life!
I may have some good news regarding finding Percocet Oxycodone in Southwest Florida. Yesterday a Walgreens Filled my Oxycodone 10/325 , Pharmacist said they had it in stock and She wrote a Note on my Script at the Top, she may have circled my Birth-date, not sure as I was in Drive-thru and could not see that well. She then told me that she could fill it, but it would take at least 1 1/2 Hours with the new Regulations that were in place. My feeling is they are crosschecking Data Bases to make sure you are not on any Blacklist for abuse. Well They took my Cell Phone and asked if I wanted a Text Message when the Script was ready, I said please, and like clockwork I received a Text in approx 1.5 hours. When I picked up the Script, I checked them out and they had substituted my Percocet for Watson Brand 10/325 #180 "5 times a Day" so far so good, they are Round whereas the percocets I had been getting were oblong tablet. I have read that watson may not be as effective, but I'm keeping a positive attitude that they will work on my Chronic lower back pain. Hope this is the Sign that Walgreens has turned over a New Leaf and the Old I don't feel Comfortable filling this prescription Canned Phraze is Out of here. The Pharmacy "In my Opinion" has a Legal and Moral Obligation to Fill a Legal Script that is written by a Licensed Doctor, as long as that Doctor and Script is Verified as Legitimate. By the Way I always wear a Sport Coat or Business like Attire when I go to turn in my Script and am very pleasant to the Pharmacist, I know they have been going thru Hell with The DEA and all the Abuse of Controlled Substances and they are just trying to protect their livelihood, but with that Said, I believe the Chronic Pain Patient has rights too and we all need to continue to keep the Pressure on Corporations like Walgreens and CVS so that they follow the Rules.
excellent beax. lok forward to fighting back!
Lets all contact Walgreens.... and put the fear of God in them. A class action suit would do it. I am ready to get involved and not take it anymore. I will post my lawyers name as soon as I get it set up and you guy s can join in the suit.
You're right, we DO need to become a loud voice--there was a young woman who started a pain advocacy and somehow her website got shut down (maybe finances). Im so sick of all this crap and really it easier on the street IF you can find it. All I know is that I did not enlist in the army for the war on drugs! Does that make me a querilla or terrorist? Oh dang, now ill be banned for using the t word.
I'm with you,i have been speaking with my family members{who have to watch me go through all this BS,and we will be contacting Walgreens corp. and looking for a lawyer. The reason this this treatment continues is because we all just take it and don't stand up for ourselves and speak out.We all need to take a stand. My post name says it all.I'm done with being treating bad because I was injured.Oh also, the Walgreens pharmacy employee manual is also online.Keep digging, you will be amazed at what is available online.
beax@ive had same issues and got lucky with 1 pharmacy who knows me. please add me to your list for suit. my email {edited for privacy} God bless
Thank you so much for this information... because of it I am considering a Malpractice Suit against Walgreen's and certain pharmacists who have refused my legit script.
I have copied the article and sent it to the District Supervisor of the Walgreen's in question. I am giving him 10 days to call me to resolve the matter or else.
When I do file suit I will post the info on this board and you can join in if you like. Providing the censors allow my to post it.
