Fentanyl Withdrawal Symptoms (Page 33)

Updated

I'm trying to wean myself off the Fentanyl patch. I went from 75 micro-gms to 50 now I'm on 25. Having a problem and not sure it is related to the decrease in the med. It's been 20 days on the 25 micro-gm and I'm going crazy. I need to keep rocking, moving in any way b/c my body is very restless. Is this a symptom of withdrawal and what do I do? I cannot take it any more.

Hey ya all, just checking in so you know I am still hanging in there. Lol everytime I tell my friend "im hanging" she panics. I have an inversion table in the middle of my living room. It KINDA helps. The rope that I don't have does look good though. I'm now 50 mg that I spread along 5 days. I'm lucky I can cut them to break it down. Most can't because of the pouch liquid patch. The withdrawals are much more minimal now. Been in bed 2 days now. The holidays are brutal for me.
Nanny. I too have a family with more hate than love. You can pick your friends you can pick your friends nose but you can't pick your family. Little buggars glad your all still here.

Hey everyone....Hope ya'll had a good Easter. Mine ws good, went to Church and then just took the rest of the day to rest. Well, I made everyone mad yesterday. I made everyone get out of the bed at 11a.m. in the morn. This consist of three teens and a 40 year old daughter....I'm so tired of doing all the housework and cooking. My daughter works third at the hospital and thinks that she has to sleep all day on the days that she is off. Mind you, she works 6 on 7 off, and them 7 days she sleeps all day and lets me correct her kids and clean and cook for her and hers. Well, this is ending. The 15year old granddaughter is going to learn to wash her own cloths, she changes 3 times a day, so she can wash all them changes herself. The 18 year old boy is going to start mowing the grass again like he use to, I can't do that anymore. He has gotten so lazy since his mother started working. The 12 year old boy is going to stay off the computer, that he stays on all day after school, and get busy helping in some way. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my family living with me and I needed them so much when I was so sick and thought I was going to die, but enough is enough....I CAN NOT DO ALL OF THIS ANYMORE....Oh they were so ill when I woke them but I told them they were not going to hurt my feeling today because of all the hollering and fussing about getting out of the bed...Sorry everyone but I had to get this off my chest....I feel so much better even after everyone sat and watched me clean yesterday. At least they were up out of the bed. And today IS a better day. They tipped toed around while they were getting ready for school and let me sleep....LOLOLOL. I think the change is coming on, Yea!!!!! Love everyone....taking one day at a time...

Etienne, thanks... I do feel so much better and am going to enforce the new around here. Its a shame the way kids are these days. No respect, no morals. If it is left up to me they will do things around this house. It will make a better person out of them and know that they can't run over me just because I am an old fart. lol That's my new name but I wear it proudly....Life is getting better one day at a time...They may be mad at me now but they will thank me later when they are cleaning up their own house, I am a good teacher....I hope. I hope it lasts...lol (My dad was a old fart but he installed good qualities in all us kids even if I learned late in life)

Check out Duffy's in Napa! They do seem to be missing massage and or acupuncture. If the service is offered it is not mentioned. Now this is what I'm talking about. Unfortunately if I had enough to go there I would get the subsnox or whatever Nutt has mentioned more than once and head over to the Bahamas with a therapist friend if mine. I Wish you all luck, as for me... IM ready to go down AGAIN!!! THANKS for being such great friends to me. It's REALLY nice to be able to at the very least be able to come in HERE and feel welcome!

Attention all who suffer from opiate dependence or withdrawals. there is a natural plant called kratom. it can be purchased online. it binds to opiate receptors. Google it. i used a site called kratomking. i am not advertising, that's just one of many. i purchased the strain called maueng da. please look into it. it gives you an opiate high but that's not why to.take it. it completely takes away withdrawals and has no withdrawals in itself. no more than coffee. it has saved me from.similar circumstances. it doesn't taste good but its exactly like taking percoset but
natural. NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. just start off with a teaspoon

Hey everyone, hope all is well on the home front. Shannon, I just love to read your post, it puts a smile on my face every time. I love it...Well, I backtrack a bit and now I am at a point that I want to just dig a hole and crawl in and cover my head at least for awhile. I got a strange call from my heart doctor and was told my pacemaker was acting up. Now I have to have a stress test Tuesday morning and I am scared of what I have done to my heart over the years. I could feel the hard pounding that my heart was doing but thought it was just my nerves.....The doctor said no, no, no....That he has never seen anyones pacemaker act the way mine was acting. He said it stopped on occasion and he is scared that it might do this while I'm sleeping and not wake up...Gee thanks doctor, now I'm afraid to go to sleep....Take care everyone...

Hi nuttynanny and Shannon and all. Wow!!! You're a mess. I thought I had it bad. But you know my friend, None of us know why we go through what we do I just know there is a better place after this life and after this one is over somebody in heaven has a lot of explaining to do :)
Please nutty nanny don't be like me look at all the negatives in life an not the good.
#1. Your pacemaker is still working
#2. You're getting immediate attention from your doctor.
#3 You have friends on this site that care about you.
#4 I am always praying for you.
So relax and try not to dress so much. That's not good for your heart.
Love ya,
Remember that.

My dear Etienne, Thank you so much for a positive look on life. I smiled real big when you said "someone has alot of explaining to do when we get to the other afterlife". I can just see me asking God why did I have to suffer so much more than other people. Can you imagine the look on Gods face. Lololol. I know I did this all myself, all on my on, I do take credit for the most. That is why I stress to people just what taking too much drugs in general can do. When I was born, I didn't know what drugs felt like and I was raised to just say no, but like a cat my inquisitive mind wanted to feel no pain at all, even the little pains that are in our everyday lives. Heck, I didn't even want to have any kind of feelings at all to tell you the truth. Mentally, physically or otherwise. I just didn't want to feel. Now I'm having to feel all the rebound feeling that I bottled up in the meds bottle over the years, and suffer is not even close to what my feelings are, nowdays. Granted, some of it is old age, but for the most, it's what I, me, myself has done to my body. Oh Nina, get a life....your gonna live dispite it all. lol Hope your day is going good and I do want you to know that I pray for you also (and all who suffers). And as the days go by and the more we converse, I do love you. I wish we didn't live so far apart, then I could really bug you...lololol. Love ya anyway. I know you are good in heart though.

Keep us posted on your doctor visit.
I think when we get to heaven we will have forgotten all about our trials on this earth but foe now you are in inspiration to others and me too. I believe this is our lot in this life, to help others. :)

Hi Guy's, I too laughed at the statement about God having a lot of explaining to do. what's he going to do? Send us to hell! Been there and present! Trying to stay positive. Don't be afraid to fall asleep, sounds to me like you just need a new one put in, but you may need to get in there really soon! I'll keep you in my prayers. Smarty Pants is correct about the Kartamin. My friend told me it worked great weaning her off pills. Her Hubby buys it online and she gets it in a head shop. She said if the one here in Santa Cruz doesn't carry it, to tell him to buy it that they would make a ton of money. There is talk of getting it banned so stock up now if it seems to work. Unfortunately, weaning Off of this is WAY different than pills of any magnitude... Good luck and take care. I just ate a brownie so time will tell if I sleep like a baby or am painting the ceilings.

Shannon, Etienne and all else...God the last time I did a brownie I was acting like a crack head, peeking out the windows and making everyone be real quite (like I would really hear, or better, stop them if they ever was to run in on me...lololol). But I would love a good contact. I had my stress test, the exrays, that looked like a ct scan, and am at this time wearing a heart moniter until thursday at 12pm. Then I will find out something, good I hope. They seem to think that when they adjusted my pacemaker that it was strightened out and I won't have any more problems. I hope so. Dad had a triple by-pass when he was in his early 60's and so did my mother a few years later, so they say I may be next in line. But, I, and the docs, keep a close watch on my heart. God has his hand on me, cause I should have been dead over a few occasions ago. I have had a few close calls. I once over did it and stayed in the hospital 17 weeks with chest tubes in both lungs. They broke my ribs on both sides when they were doing CPR on me, but, that's what saved me. Well, old age again, I'm rambling on and on. Take care everyone and I'm glad to see everyone at least making it on here....Love ya.......
