How long has it been since they expired?
When it comes to expired meds, my perspective is that in most cases, solution/liquid-based products don't last as long as medications in pill form and therefore I personally wouldn't trust expired ear drops if it's significantly past their due date.
If you are going to attempt to use them, it may just be best to get a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian who can attest to their long term efficacy and safety.
How well they were stored will also play a role in this decision.
