Dr sent me this for my ear. I have tinnitus and meniere's disease. Does this work?? ## I have meniere's disease but haven't had a bout in about a year now THANK GOD!!!! I just recently had ringing in the ears but it went away by end of the day. It goes as no comes once a week. But I believe after I stopped taking Gabapentin 30omg 4 x's a day I stopped getting dizzy. So far so good. I suggest if your taking Gabapentin to slowly taper down and fully off of it it's a horrible drug ## From what you've listed, this contains Ketorolac, Lidocaine, Cyclobenzaprine, and Gabapentin, combined like this they are often used to treat topical pain, and inflammation. Typical side effects may include skin redness, rash, and irritation. Is it helping you? ## My Dr prescribed this ...

hi my daughter she is 1 year old and she had ear infection so she on antibiotics and as a result she got diarrhea and not eating any solid foods and only grinking water and milk.So because she lost weight and looks thin and pale. Antibiotic is seven days course, i do not know what to do? please help.....thankyou. ## How much weight has she lost? Generally, as long as she is still drinking liquids, so she doesn't become dehydrated, she should be fine, but check with her doctor to be sure. Diarrhea and nausea can be normal side effects of an antibiotic, coupling that with the infection she's had, might cause appetite loss. Other side effects, as reported by the FDA, may include non-allergic skin rash, and dizziness. Ref: Antibiotic Information How is she doing, now?

I am currently using Vertin 16 mg for ringing in my ears as I have had tinnitus for many years. I have meniere's disease in my left ear and a loss of hearing in both the left and right ears (to 75% and 40% respectively). I wear hearing aids in both ears. How do I reduce the problem of tinnitus and are there any other alternatives to Vertin?

I have expired ear drops that are two months expired and I was wondering if I could still use them? ## Hello, Clarisa! How are you? It would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription, if needed. Liquids tend to degrade and go bad much faster than other formulations, so using them once expired is just a bad idea, as reported by the NIH. ## My left ear got blocked after i have taken expired ear drops which got expired 2 months ago. Any help or sugggestions ## So how r u feeling now?? Because the se thing happened to me after taking expired drops.. ## So should i go see a Dr. Because my ear is cloged now ## How r u feeling now because the Same thing happened to me n now my rar is cloged. ## I used expired eardrops and now my ear is clogged is there something i c...

I accidentally put the earwax removal in my eyes thinking that it was the eye drops. I washed my eyes out with water and used the eye drops. Will this affect my eyes? It’s 9:30 at night, no doctors are open. ## How are you feeling now? Can you confirm that the active ingredient in your earwax drops is Carbamide Peroxide? If so, this is what it says on the National Poison Control Center's website: A common call Poison Control receives is when ear wax remover is mistaken for eye drops and accidentally instilled in the eye(s). If this happens, immediately rinse with plenty of running water for 15–20 minutes. Then, use the webPOISONCONTROL® online tool for guidance or call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Source: I hope this helps and that your eye is feeling fine! ##...

I went to the Dr.'s 12/6/10. I have an ear infection. He prescribed Vosol. I took the RX to Walmart and the discounted price is $107.72. I can not afford it. Is there any way you can help? Is there another product that is WAY cheper? What home remedies do you suggest? ## What type of ear infection? Vosol is usually used to treat an outer ear infection (swimmer's ear), and if that's what you have then yes, there are other cheaper options available, including generic medications that you can ask your doctor about prescribing. You can learn more about swimmer's ear here on Medline Plus. However, in many cases, swimmer's ear goes away by itself, but waiting can be miserable, since it is painful, and annoying. This doesn't apply to every case, either, some do need to ...

Is Azitromicina the correct antibiotic for an ear infection? ## i had ear discharge . doc told me to have T.infectum and signoflam and and neosporin ointment . please tell me each' s function . and pharmacist gave me ampilox instead of t . infectum saying it is also antibacterial . ## Yes, it is a commonly prescribed antibiotic for treating ear infections. There's a study [1] which points to its effectiveness with even a single dose, and you usually don't have to take it as long as a penicillin antibiotic.

I have had an ear infection for a few months. It comes and goes. Had one course of antibiotics, but it's back again. I am trying Amox-Clav. I'm an adult male and wondered if the 500-125 is the right choice and if so, how many days should I take it for at 2 pills a day? ## Hello, Nathan! How are you? I'm sorry about your ear infection, they are miserable! As to the antibiotic, you should take the one prescribed by your doctor, for as long as they have instructed you to take it, also make sure you finish the full course of it. The side effects of Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid may include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, headache, and non-allergic skin rash. Is this the same antibiotic that you tried last time?

Prescribed for a sore throat ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## was prescribed 21 of these and cant remember why, i still have them because i go better without them! ## i am on a prescribed course of calvepen 666mg, one to be taken 4 times a day. i went to the doctor with painfully swollen glands and all over body aches. it seems to be clearing up quite nicely. however, i am experiencing some strong side effects. t...

Did you know a lot of toothaches and face sweeling is due to your main sinus duct where your cheek bone is, that is filled up with fluid, called sinusitis? Most people don't even know you can get that. Causes teeth to hurt, gums swollen, face swelling. It's always good to see a doctor first so they can put you on the right meds. Even though Cedfinir is one of the medication they will prescribe. But do understand it is not a miracle pill. Give it 4-6 days before you even see any results. Ok well I just wanted to share some info. Have a nice day. ## Hello AlwaysSick, Thank you for this information. Just to expand a little bit upon this, allergies in general can make more than just your teeth and nose swell and ache. Anywhere that your body is exposed to the allergens can become in...

My doctor prescribed these small tablets for me when I had a balance problem. I had to hold onto furniture when I got out of bed. Everything around you spins. It apparently has something to do with an inner ear infection. ## Hello Nico, I was unable to find any medication under the name of nitil. This could be either from a typo or it's just a new drug with very little information on it. What I do know is that our ears maintain our equilibrium. The vestibular system works in conjunction with our sight in order to give us a sense of balance and positioning with reference to other objects. Often when people have an ear infection or other ear related problems that affect the vestibular system we experience dizziness and vertigo, sometimes to the point of being completely uncapable of m...

Trying to identify a white diamond shaped pill about 1/4 inch long, 3/16 inch thick. One side has the marking TRP on it. What can it be, as it doesn't match and of the descriptions that I've seen? ## I double checked this site's NDC database, and I believe I found an over the counter product which matches your description. NDC 17312-043, "Ring Relief" tablets. Looks like a homeopathic formula which is meant to help with ringing in the ears. White, diamond-shaped tablets with the marking TRP. It appears to be available over the counter from places like Amazon. Are there any lactose free cholesterol drugs ## It is very hard to say, since each company that makes them has their own formula of ingredients. ## calcium citrate lactose free ## I am lactose/milk and povidone intolerant. My medications all contain 1 or more of these allergens, Atenolol, Levothyroxine, HCTZ. Taking these with antihistamine (also containing lactose) still triggers migraines daily, for which I take caffeine to counteract. Is there any way I can get allergen free medications. My doctor & pharmacy don't have a clue or don't care to find the answer. I am developing arthritis and dental pain from using these meds. Please help ## I, too, am allergic to lactose (milk) and corn. I just researched and found Levothyroxin made by Sandoz that does not have these ingredi...

Can you please inform me as to what the dosage is, for terramicina 125 mg, for an ear infection. Thank you ## Hi i am asking about my husband. It actually started draining more yesterday and is still draining. It's like a slightly tinted tanish fluid. The pain stopped afterward. We bought Terramicina 125 mg last night and he he's taken 2 pills, one last night and one this morning. We can't get an appt. until the day after tomorrow at a little clinic. Can giddiness, stomach acidity and feeling nervous be side effects of Ecosprin AV 75? ## ecosprin i am consuming 1 a day from 2 years is this the reason for ringing of bells in my ear ## consult your doctor.... ringing of bells in ear may be the starting of inner ear infection or lybrenthitis ## What is the difference between Ecosprin Gold 180 and Ecosprin A.V 75 and what is the side effect of both. ## This medication contains Aspirin, and Atorvastatin, so those can be normal side effects, along with nausea, headache, and joint/muscle aches, according to the NIH. I am taking amoxicillin because I have a double ear infection, but I also have a cold. Is it alright to take amoxicillin and cold medicine together? ## Which cold medicine would you like to take? There are many out there, so I am unable to answer your question without knowing more details. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you!. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Amoxicillin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. How are your ears feeling? Has there been any improvement, yet? ## Can amoxicillin and alka-seltzer cold be taken together? Didn't want any serious interactions.

I have some Tresaderm ear drops for my dog that expired some time ago. Will they still be effective? ## How long has it been since they expired? When it comes to expired meds, my perspective is that in most cases, solution/liquid-based products don't last as long as medications in pill form and therefore I personally wouldn't trust expired ear drops if it's significantly past their due date. If you are going to attempt to use them, it may just be best to get a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian who can attest to their long term efficacy and safety. How well they were stored will also play a role in this decision.
