Is Dr Reddy's K-Cit Syrup safe for diabetic patients taking Gemer Forte-1?

Please let me know if Dr Reddy's K-Cit Syrup is safe to take along with my medications which I used for diabetes type 2. My doubt is whether I can use Daonil 5mg tabs instead of Amrayl 2mg?
