Dolonex Dt 20mg

Why is this medicine used? I have had pain in my right heel since june 24th. I have taken the path of homeopathy with no relief, then nac sr 100mg with no relief either. Today i was told by my dr to take dolonex dt 20mg. What's my actual problem? And should i take this medicine?

Have you asked your doctor what they think is causing your problem?

It is very difficult to even guess from just the limited information in a short online post.

Dolonex-DT is listed as containing Piroxicam, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, which is used to treat pain, fever and swelling.

Side effects might include: nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation.

My mum had a high BP recently & not coming down as she is 58yrs old.
She use to take BP tablet Lotensin.

Also she had a bad pain on knee due to over weight she started taking after Dr. Recomnd Tablet Dolonex Dt 20mg.

Now her BP not coming down, she feeling heaviness in chest, sweting, not comfortable, sofocation etc & going toilet 3-5 times in night.

Please recommand me for further as soon possiable.

I had severe pain in my left leg feeling of nerve pull could not put any weight on it unable move it in certain direction doc prescribed dolonex dt anf mgd3 took dolonex after breakfast there was no pain at all but at night took mgd3 wholenight the pain brought tears

I am suffering from right heel pain for last two years and now doctor advised me to take Dolonex tablet, which not only reduced my heel my heel pain to a little bit but also caused stomach ache to me.

I have used Dolonex DT for a toothache and believe me, it's the best medicine for toothaches. Though I am not sure if it relieves you from any other pain. Going to use it for a headache now as I don't have any other medicine handy and no money to buy anything. Will take it with Rantac just in case.

My mom suffered from chikungunya last week. Since then, the fever has subsided, but there is excessive pain in her feet, specially in the sole of the feet with swelling. She is hardly able to walk. We tried out a few painkillers initially, but the pain resurfaced again. After that, the doctor prescribed Deflazacort, which is a steroid and Polonex DT which is an NSAID. Are these medicines okay to be taken in Chikungunya or home remedies and homeopathy are preferred?
