Does Melfene Make You Gain Weight

I am taking melfene 200mg i have gained weight since i have been on then can it be a side affect

I'm having trouble finding any information on a drug by the name of Melfene, is it possible that you meant to say Melfen? If so, my research tells me that the main ingredient in Melfen is Ibuprofen- a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication used to treat fever and pain, including pain caused by headache, toothache, arthritis, cold or flu, migraine, or menstrual cramps.

To my knowledge, weight gain is not a side effect of Ibuprofen. Everyone does react to medication differently however. Have you made any changes to your diet that could be the culprit? Or are you taking any other medications?
