I am very sorry about your wife. I have been through thyroid cancer now that it is gone the amount of calcium it has left throughout my body, my ribs, my back and even my head is debilitating. The only choice I have is to use pain medicines. My ankles fracture when I walk on the due to no elasticity in my tendons. I went through over 14 lithotripsy's. With doctors sticking stents in my kidneys afterwards. Cancer is horrible but for people to judge and deprive you of pain medicine like most doctors do is still a death sentence!

You need to get sober. That's what you need to do. I find the amount of meds people are taking crazy. My wife is 39 years dying of bone cancer and she takes two 8 mg of did.

TO ALL REGARDING MY POSTS just because someone writes on a blackboard 1 and 1 is 2 does not mean that someone doing the math wrong makes 1 and 1 equal 3.

Unfortunately the federal government more than any agency (and I am a regulatory expert who does shut downs of nursing homes and deficient hospitals as a consultant), will say this "fund" is for this "purpose" but the SSA fund has been robbed, raped, and pillaged by various leadership individuals and their economic teams to fund other areas time and time again.

Those who have like me paid in their money to SSA are facing shortages due to exactly what I state SSI as a program was initially devised by Democrats (for votes mind you) with no access funding so it was "borrowed" from our trust fund and never repaid. I do not make such statements without the inside knowledge of what I speak.

Anyone here who has a question or if they don't understand medical terms I sometimes speak just ask. It is one of the side effects of being in the health care business for so many years. Thanks.

SSI is funded from the General Fund Not the Trust Fund. Drs that treat Medicare Patients are Not being paid to not prescribe pain meds or stop treatment of chronic illnesses, CMS (Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services) does have a Overutilization.Policy regarding Opiates for chronic pain that is not related to a terminal illness. They identify beneficiaries that may have an abuse or overuse of opiates. They also identify prescribers that they believe prescribe in an abusive manner and CMS can revoke the prescribers Medicare enrollment. They can also do the same with pharmacys.

Lonette since most of us are valid pain patients, and yes some also psychiatric, what disorders are you seeking the medication for? Valium is a smooth muscle relaxer, and Ambien for sleep. Essentially snowballing both will put you 20 feet under in a blizzard butt naked and you would not know a thing.

Chris first of all I LOVE YOU and don't let go please. They are holding up on my posts and have not heard from Dr. J. on private email so don't worry if anything it is you and me. I did not get paid again today but am doing my Appeal on WC as we speak I won as you know but they are holding off as long as they can. I am only doing two physicians at a time and am far too low on medication but had to decide today if I do appeal and enter early (pleading death imminent and financial demise) the WC literally put two private investigators into the security apartments I live in and moved them out the day the D.C. found IN MY FAVOR. Now due to them not paying mileage for 16 years which is why I had to attempt the DON job in 2013 getting terminated due to my severe disability a month later (but plenty of money for jets to California) hold the WC employer liable for the SSA situation for literally they are.

The local SSA person was out to kill. She was an idiot normally any activity on me is done in the Philadelphia hub and the guy there stated he did not receive documents (wrong for I filed a complaint on him so he wanted just the proof not turn in the complaint) so he asked me to go to the local SSA figured they'd scan JUST the documents and he would continue my SSDI. Well the c*** who handled me literally got her boss and said "I need to steal her claim I cannot do it." Yes this is ILLEGAL yes this is fraud for what she did was put $7,000 on a SGA month which was housing for my Hilton extended stay for the gig was 700 miles from where I resided. I had proof of this corporate office was in Atlanta, GA and my travel liason was emailing me so I showed the reservation, which Hilton, and the weekly amount. No one in all the years I've been SSDI has ever asked for proof not a one. They can tell so this is amazing. I ended up over here in butt hole Texas (eastern on border of LA) because I again accepted a prison DON when contractors changed and I was going to revamp nursing for them for over 7,000 federal prisoners. Again HOUSING it was over 600 miles from where I stayed in Texas. So those idiots could not get me through federal clearance meaning they reported money for my corporate rental, (housing which you can deduct) and I had a termination letter stating "we could not get you through federal clearance" and I've had federal clearance BEFORE SSDI people. Write this down for no longer are your SSA records secure; since ODUMMA every poop out of your rectum is on file for anyone to view.

The guy in Philadlephia ZEROED the prison gig he knew if you could not get clearance or a blue badge under BOP then that money is not income it's gift. Well guess what I also was disabled before 1999 when Ticket to Work came into effect therefore, there is a regulation that protects folks disabled before changes from taking actions others do. But I want to take my claim over to Louisiana which you can; interesting LA is one state of 6 that does not do reconsiderations which is GREAT for you do not want a wonker from your DUMB office who denies a claim almost 20 years old that is a party worse not better having his buddy at the next desk doing the same.

There has to be one hospital in your area and you might need to do homework that will take you through the ER and admit you. Find a few pain specialists you would like (but cannot get), and get the damn ER to admit you due to everything; low potassium, dehydration, extreme pain and so forth. Then that physician (if they have privileges) can be called in the key at this point is admitting you. There has to be one or two hospitals as I have my list in Texas but sounds like you are worse then me that will prescribe a month of medications which for you or I right now is NOT enough you need to be admitted (and not with a treatment program to detox but to stabilize heart, kidneys and pain), and then the admitting physician (most have two or three hospitalists who admit from the ER) can then get a consult while you are in the hospital and then maybe we can get you a doctor that way.

I don't want that for you I swear you are a sister already I feel this way BUT we can do this. I have my fiance on phone 24 / 7 he is also American but living in Australia and keeps his American number and I will as I write my legal briefs go over with him what I'm writing. This is all conjecture and rat fecal product for me; I won the damn thing hate having to do this Appeal now but if it will potentially get me ALL MILEAGE, and cause them to be liable for the OVERPAYMENT and pay my SSDI and Medicare till this gets straight then so be it. Some people on here have no clue you know?

WC differs in every state different rules and yes if you are blessed with a 100% medical award then your award pays medications, and all medical FIRST as primary am so sick of a certain person thinking he or she can judge others, and say nothing to support or help the same. A real addict perhaps yes?

P450-Saw you in webinar but audio probs--too bad. I not able talk much anyhow-need get appt. withdraws will kill me am outta time. Think now with this climate the ER wouldn't help, would say sorry. If could get outta wheelchair I WOULD!!! The bone disease left bones like mush-no dr. has cure & no surgeon will touch me til bones come back. No drug developed yet grows bone back, only stops from disintegrating which means I am F...D. Still curious why not Dr. Joey if he's in FL? Referral not only sec. said no medical mgt. but found reviews about his meds being strong narc were actually Tramadol & Norco. To me (us) that def. is NOT strong..... Your advice is extremely helpful since I not been thru this for very long time & back then the climate was turned towards correcting UNDER TREATMENT not the opposite as is now. All I want is to be able to get into wheelchair to go pee & not fall to floor. I have tapered as far as I can (which is less than original therapeutic dose to 1/10th dose). Time my enemy & I can never depend on ability to move since my flare attacks happening more & more often leave me unable to move no matter how much life depends on it-simply cannot or black if try. I would done 911 but couldn't get phone a couple episodes ago-fortunately I made it thru 3 days later was able move again. Posters able to do something we must STOP our gov. from this murder. Still recouping from last episode more later-certainly find your passion inspiring P450- U must be a hellova nurse. Chris-FL if dr. info PLS post

I am worried about this physician incentive I'm hearing about. Physicians are being paid huge I mean BIG financial incentives to STOP treatment of chronic disorders. You know Medicare was always on top of quality control and paid less to providers and they are trying to maintain SSA and funding.

What SSA is suffering from unfortunately is those of us who did pay in our quarters are within being recipients of this trust fund; it is ONLY that. When the government decided to begin SSI for indigent that money should never come from CMS for those parties are on a limited amount BUT that $700 plus a month is coming out of our TRUST fund. Just a thought.

I am working on some different concepts for getting us in the door. I really need to move fast being in this condition without proper pain control and writing legal briefs against Attorney Generals is ridiculous; I did so and won a few weeks ago and the bastids want to appeal just feeling they can hold off on providing me medical care when that award is 100% for life forever. Yes I'd like to settle but it's always been with a medication annuity. Now they will find it won't be an option nor will they kill me to reduce the cost either I'm too stubborn. As far as the SSA I realized due to the first time I disabled (was very young pelvic cripple due to huge ovarian cysts one being 15 pounds while 28 weeks pregnant, migraines, and so forth) but there is a regulation regarding people getting their original award PRIOR to all the goofy changes they had over the years. I am hoping to hop to the state next door and going to them for prejudice and abuse was shown me here totally. Put it this way if you are black or white (I'm white) you get doormat treatment;

Pamela there are far better drugs then this for pain. It raises seizure threshold and is a mixed opioid agonist and antagonist. It could cause withdrawal if taken with a LA opioid for example.

When you post it's a good idea to say where you are located or looking. Unfortunately with the FDA 120 mg. morphine equivalent more people will be forced to attain relief travel within their state or outside.

Chris sitting in a WC is going to cause you pressure ulcers and if you continue contractures they are only for transitional use girl get out of that WC if you can walk use a walker or cane if not. Don't give in to this pain specialists are not going to take you if you appear to be so compromised without a will to fight and live ok.

I'd also consider Alabama if you can get there.

Chris I have full referrals to all the other physicians in his network do not let her do it.

They cannot do high level opioids any longer and anyone in Alabama is insane to go out of state there are no cures for the rare disorders. I could if stable and did not have SSA and an Appeal statement to write and to obtain a physician against those appealing me (yep) tell you the entire story. I can give you the other physicians in his network names it is NOT worth it. I blame him for many things he plays both sides if you will--I believe just like IME's some very credible well known physicians will turn the wrong way for the right amount of money.

Also he cannot take Medicare. He ran for both ADDICTS and anyone Methadone doc in the box clinics from what I heard years ago all up and down California. Apparently there was some question of billing and he lost his ability to do Medicare. So if this woman needs help it will be a double edged sword if she needs to pay he charges a paltry $200 not too bad but you must fly in and out and then you must bring a family member and stay over sometimes a week at a time. Then he now wants you to get pharmacy in California where BRAND NAME is dirt. I must use brand due to allergies on my major LA. If you depend on Part D to pay medications a non Medicare provider cannot be used.

I really wish I never brought him up or my being a professional nurse. Dr. Joey is some physician that started posting after me and we exchanged information.

Chris tell her not to go if she is out of state. He is NO longer doing high level opioids. Won't happen.

He can't hands are tied and his personality is horrific.

Don't send all of your records. Do a cover letter stating you fully understand the new FDA standards and are willing to work with the physician that you must have treatment.

Do not send too much either.

Chris even though the DEA did a big shut down the best states to find PM right now are Alabama, Tennessee and West Virginia. In fact I've seen several in Alabama on my list with great background several Texas originals who trained out here that I feel have impressive credentials.

Alabama more then any state they clearly do not require a PM specialist there are many open type clinics, and it is incredible to see just how many opioids are written by a variety of physicians.

Chris I did a check and copied a bunch in Florida who do Opana ER. I am feeling like I'm at the end myself but I will work on 2 physicians at a time just to get in. Anyone with the usual amount I have been on even if they are a professional nurse who went down to less than 30% is still a rough sell.

Hugs I'm praying for us both we can get through this.

Chris honey try and trust me DO NOT DISCUSS medication prior to getting in the door the best we can do with Publica is see what certain physicians do write. For example the guy in Houston who died would not write Dilaudid when I had my fusion the PM in house wrote it for me so Dr. H. had me go to him then for D. Makes sense that is allowed when physicians determine how to practice medicine.

Odumma is dictating how we live, or if we live. Apparently this wisp of a human being has no balls and worse yet is limp. He has no personality, and no character. Dr. H. literally believed his lies and contributed to his original campaign so sure he would support PM in this country WRONG. He lied to anyone who contributed to his campaign he lies to America today.

Just try it my way Chris it won't hurt. Today I sent the CT to the one referral with a few other records and picked another physician who does Louisiana and Texas both sides of the two states. He also along with his partner writes my primary LA medication. But next is the other two monsters I mean I just won again against this Assistant Attorney General and they appeal bite me they are a holes and they also tried to kill me which will be more of a private not a public story you will be amazed what you can do in America to reduce costs.

Remember people you cannot be honest, have intellect, or know your rectum from your head if you want things to remain the way they are. It is up to us as a group to be EMPOWERED, educated 100% on our disorders and medications and force ourselves NEVER to be invalids. These PM's expect us to look fine walking in the door I know but you know these dudes don't need whining pansies if you see 500 patients a week you do not want to spend your one day off popping Prozac and seeing a psychiatrist!

P450-Whois dr.Joey?? I will go?? Am confused if should send pain med history since wont get apt when they see-yet when I get there & they pull FL Patient Advisory Report with (what they feel) huge dosages received previously then I am shown the door. Last apt I never spoke to dr only office mgr relaying questions back & forth. Drove almost 2 hrs one-way then sent away. Mind you I spent almost 2 mos. calling, faxing records, buying more updated x-rays, MRI, so office mgr knew ALL MY BACKGROUND but never saw my FL report.
I always try dress nice, meet eyes, but am on literally 1/10th of my effective dosage so may as well say nothing thus am in pain beyond the point of hoping to stay alive. My organs are going I know-as far as adrenal insufficiency well most drs.not even know what that is but am fearful am full blown not much time before calling 911 due to this state of pain. Can no longer remain sitting in wheelchair for longer than half hr? Why am always down since will fall otherwise. My BP reflects this even if try to be forthright & composed my body/brain not taking it-actually not remember what I said due to overwhelming pain of sitting in broken down wheelchair crooked over 4 hrs waiting after driving 2 hrs.-no wonder BP outta sight.
Am certain if I faxed records to dr you say they will simply call saying no appt. She was very adamant about PT-no meds anymore. Thnk he fears DEA recent trouble maybe.
Note to you-group am in has member lives in Alabama I think-just got apt withdr.tennant.-she been trying for months if not year to do so-said got email yesterday to come. She very rare case also-soooo...
Going down-more later,
getting nowhere in this condition,
Chris

Chris one more thing. Physicians who write heavily OFTEN have their twerps (phone freaks who treat you like trash) state on phone we DO NOT WRITE NARCOTICS sorry. Do it as I suggest Chris for the love of God. They must protect their patients and practice.

Did you ever think that is why he is listed for PT he is a physical rehab physician and most of those are PM specialists these days. So a few may do a few injections, do PT, water therapy but MOST keep people out of pain ok.

You NEVER NEVER want to discuss what medications you prefer on the phone, and unfortunately if you have accurate records or better yet a pharmacy record of your last scripts (say 3 months in a row same pharmacy) he or she will see what works for you.

No tears no wonder they wanted you in the ER. Look at liability you cannot stumble in there thinking the worse you look the better WRONG the one liability is mental instability and women who are considered hysterical and emotional who come in saying I had a pump and surgeries and now I will die without medication are a deal breaker. If you are cool, calm, and collected and meet their eyes in discussing your needs then you have won the first war the battle to get in the door.

The physician I saw in Houston who has given me 2 referrals one won't take the comp long story and the other has not gotten back to me his right hand girl gave me her cell and said send a few records well I could not find anything but remembered and you will laugh at this.

As you know a CT will hardly EVER and I'm allergic to dye show up discs and so forth that are blown. Well we thought I had kidney stones again and they did a NO dye CT scan of the renals and the results showed L3 to L5 ruptured and severe DDD LOL that is the best. When a CT shows that stuff you are the gold the worst of the worst.
