Can you tell me about any doctors who can prescribe Vicodin

Lynx, when a clinic or doctor gets into trouble for overprescribing few if any doctors want to take their patients because they are on high doses of opiates. When a patient is use to high doses they don't want to be reduced. Other doctors know this. The percentage of patients that are abusers are usually higher with a doctor that over prescribes that with those that don't.

The CDC Guidelines are not laws. It is still up to each doctor to prescribe what they believe a patient needs. But medical records have to prove the need for high doses. Most doctors that overprescribe do not keep their medical records up to date with the required information.

Simply using your own biased opinion. ?
I stand by my point that drs should not treat
A patient like he has done something wrong
When the Dr he was seeing has been ostracized for his prescribing record.
Also even tho technically the Guidelines are
Not laws, in the eyes of drs the damages for
Not following them is the same. We all have seen drs afraid for their license revocation
Due to them ignoring the Guidelines. Drs
Do not want to lose their life long career and
Years of training just because they did not
Adhere to guidelines being implemented by the
DEA thugs.
What is being portrayed as guidelines are really being laws in reality.
Can't fight the gov and their power over us.

Lynx, have you read the laws and rules for suspending a doctor's medical license in your state ? A doctor having their license suspended is not the same as a doctor losing their medical license and not being able to practice medicine again. Does your state's Medical Board put Disciplinary Actions against Physicians on their website ?

MS contin needed in south GA. Prescribed for parathesis and failed back surgery syndrome since 2002. Now they want to stop it and treat me like a junkie with out offering any pain relief alternative to work as well, and I've tried therapies, nerve stim, etc. without success.

It sucks that a few people in the world have a problem with drugs and the people who need the pain medication can't get them because everybody is scared of people dying on them. I've never heard of anybody dying on Vicodins unless they wanted to die. I really have a problem with this. Why do the people who need the pills for chronic back pain (which I have degenerative back disease) have to be put on notice because of problems that the addicted drug addicts have? You know that they always take too many, it's crazy. I need one to get out of bed. The only problem I have is not being able to get them from my doctor, which I do need them as I'm on disability and I'll tell you what, that doesn't matter. The whole thing is everybody out there is so scared to make the wrong decision. Listen to me, this thing is a big problem. Those plants come from Afghanistan, Pakistan & all those places over there where the American boys were not supposed to be.

What is the Doctor's name? I've been refused meds that I've been taking for years. No doctor in Jackson will re-write my meds since my regular doctor had a heart attack.

St. Louis, Mo. Was in an accident with a city bus April of 2015 and have dealt with the pain. Not sure how to go about getting the pain meds that will touch my pain. I know the Dr.s are being pressured to withhold prescribing pain meds. Can I just state my case and think that I will be properly treated?

Hi, I've been having to take pain meds for a couple of yrs. now and suddenly my "pain management" Dr. cut my monthly pres. in half. Not surviving well at all. I have too many responsibilities to be laid up bc I can't move w/out great effort. I'm in So. MS and just don't know what to do or where to go. Anyone?

Twanda , you need to see a Pain Management Doctor. They will need a copy of your medical records to prove you have a medical condition that might require pain meds. A doctor will not just go by what you say alone.
