Mr fixit...any info would be very appreciated. .maybe your Dr knows a nj or nyc..doc...my current Dr who is new to me about 4 months suggested getting my whole intestinal tract taken since writing is difficult in NJ anymore..one really? I'm in the Charlotte N.C. Aera and have no problem getting my pain meds. There are a handful of doctors here that will prescribe pain meds for you, I am on 15 100 µg fentanyl patches Per month I also get 150 30 mg oxycodone for breakthrough pain per month.my family provider did not feel comfortable writing this many pain meds so he told me to go to a pain management clinic. I walked into the pain management Killaney with no paperwork no records and I walked out of there with 15 100 µg fentanyl patches and 150 oxycodone 30s for breakthrough pain and have been there ever since it that is now two years ago.so to all you people that are not getting your pain meds you are going to the wrong places. So leave me a post and I will be happy to give you the doctors names and where to go.

Found this. not sure if it can truly b of any help. As always u have 2b very careful. was on another site from awhile ago on medschat from someone. Phoneconsultation.com. as I said u can't b 2 careful. But if it might help someone. didn't offer me any help since I'm in Ohio.

I had 2 travel 2 Kentucky. It's a long story. 4 later. The reason I'm writing is while I was gone, I found out my moms cat who I care 4 since my parents past last yr. Well they had 2 get her on insulin & Special food.... So great that I did have them do a blood work up. I'm wondering after looking @ something's 4 pets...like anxiety & saw some things even 4 pain am I crazy... Or that desperate. ???? I'm glad Sassy kitty is doing very well so far. I have a pet bunny 2 who I had gotten b4 things turned upside down with my parents being sick. They r friends & it's so funny 2 c how they react 2 each other. So a lot of money @ the vets & WOW my cat got just what she needed 2 get better ????? I'm very thankful. Yet with the true medications that would help us ?? Y. R they there ...I'd love 2 get the attention & medication that would help.

I am a disabled lady, 54. I have had multiple back surgeries. I have spinal stenosis, narrowing of the nerve sac, and above L 4 and 5* where the hardware is, the discs are starting to herniate , there is adult Scoliolordos . Many times, my back will be ( just walking) in so much pain that I have to stop and bend over. It is unbearable pain. Looking for a doc who treats pain in St.Francios Co. Mo., Jefferson Co. , Iron Co., and St. Louis Co. Please help so I can find relef.

I am from Illinois. Lets face it the DEA is out to shut down ANY doctor who is giving out "pain medication." That is why my doctors R gone (shut down). The others are afraid to give out anything & losing their license. So that leaves us in a real "hell on earth." There are some people who really R in pain! So I suppose my daughter who has had 2 major surgeries on her hands at Mayo Clinic & a crushed vertebrae is just suppose to suffer. Because IF she goes to the hospital ER (like I did) they will flag her as opiate dependence & Narcotic Abuse! What a bunch of BS. The DEA needs to "get a life." Why don't they stop selling cigarettes that have killed millions (even those who don't smoke cuz of second-hand smoke)? Why don't they just shut down all alcholic sales, which millions have died from/killed? Because the government makes money off of those 2 major killers! I know I have had family & friends die/gotten killed from both! Ticked off at the DEA!

CoSusie..Karen..et al lol...omg I wish I could take your pain away and if I hit the lottery don't worry girls you have a friend in NJ! I have seen multiple doctors...last one was Friday am new gastro said remcaid was dangerous and I wasn't a candidate after all my surgeries and now a stricture with 2 fistula...now she changed her mind and is pushing it...read the side effects and how many people it helps. Out-of 20 fda side effects death is number 14..some it Def helped most made sicker ...depends on age n disease...47 plus worst side effects...any of u try these biologicals... she says since I'm reluctant and afraid I need a psychologist ...are u kidding ..38 years of surgery hospital visits.

now a narrowing so bad the colonsolcopy can't go through but I need a head dr...I go to one now anyhow to help with my disease so haha to her ...spend a lot of money and get really not much help...I read and know what I know ..my mom didn't want the hernia surgery and everyone pushed her and what happen she died ..9 months of the worst death...urine was coming out of her arms...horrible. .shes forcing me says hey a 2nd opinion and then we expect will decide because I'm so reluctant but it's got to happen she feels..

..oh god help me...since my Dr left as u know now then only thing that helped a little was my pain meds along with rest antibiotic and a ton of naturals along with gluten dairy free?...and he gave me what I needed now its.horrible...If it weren't for my daughter and husband I don't know what I'd do ....he works and Monica in school...I feel so alone...I hate putting my problems on them...uggggggg...what should i do????

I am going through the same "crap" here in Illinois. I was on Norco's 10 mgs., & Oxycodone 30mgs for six years. Now, my doctor retired & I am going through "hell!" I have even went to a couple of doctors, 2 Emergency Rooms & NOBODY will help me. I even asked them to help me to "wean" me down they all refused! Now they got me flaged as Opiate dependence & Narcotic Abuse.....what a bunch of BS! I thought they were suppose to help me not judge me? They don't know me by seeing for 15 minutes!

2 all of u I'm very thankful 2 have this site. sorry having a tuff day & weeks. Struggling with severe pain at least I can scream since I'm the only 1 2 hear it. & I can cry 2 ! It's a yr. Without my parents ...& I'm wondering y I'm even here. i want 2 make difference & b who I once was. Y do we even have meds. That help.

Hey, found this site a few yrs ago. 2011. saw that a doctor frank veres in champion ohio was listed 4 pain meds. I'm wondering & hoping he's still available. Thanks & bless u 2 anyone who can bless me with a doctor who's not afraid of the big bad dea.

NJ sorry 2 hear about ur pain 2.& all the others.This week has been horrible.I agree that if all u need is pain medication we should b able 2 get it. That's wat it's there 4 ! I've said it b4 my pets get better treatment.I've been in so much pain didn't think id make it this far. No help I had 2 take & board my pets 4 awhile.I couldn't move well enough.It's heartbreaking !! This combo of sciatic nerve disk problems & some arthritis all eating up my lower back & left leg hard 2 stand on.We r people for the love of God & shouldn't have 2 live this way.its been a yr. Since I lost both my parents.they both passed away within about a month of each other.& I miss em so much.They worried so much that I'd b getting better they didn't tell me my Mom had cancer till she was in at the VA Hospice.It came on fast & she was gone in a week.my Dad then passed away in September. I would love 2 move without such pain. 4 us all who truly need help, bless u all . I haven't posted lately. I've been crying a lot.the worst is wanting 2 b or feel human again & productive.I still have my house not sure how much longer.Since my son & his girlfriend moved out,he had 2 get back 2 collage & keep his job.It's just me here my moms cat & my rabbit.I sold some things 2 get the pets some care& pay some bills. 2 months ago they turned off the water...had 2 scramble 2 get that back on.Thanks 2 a church friend. BLESS U ALL it's so sad 2 feel so lonely & in pain. I'm glad I found this site. Wish daily that I could find the right help. Thank u. Karen from columbus.

I was looking for a Dr. in McAllen, Tx that will prescribe pain meds. I'm here working and have seen two Dr's already that instantly think you're an addict. I had neck surgery 2 years ago and have been up and down. I have a pain management Dr at home but because of the new law, makes it impossible to call them in.

Went to the first meeting of a support group of people who got together on a thread here. It was so worthwhile, it's hard to explain. Only a few of us showed for the first meeting, but even though small, I'm so glad I made the drive.
My back is so messed up and I have no one to blame but myself. I used the vacuum on Friday (must have lost my mind completely, what was I thinking?). Anyway it was a little over 3 hours to get there, and we made it back in less than 3 hours. MY ACHING BACK!!! I think the drive was so worth it, back pain or not.
It would be so nice if other people on some of the other threads were able to support each other. The people in the Denver area are making a real effort.
Because it is so far away, it isn't a trip that I'm going to be able to make on any sort of regular basis. Just really glad I made that first one.

NJShore - lost my mom in 93, still miss her. I don't think it ever goes away, the missing part. Pain of loss does, with time. But missing doesn't.
