Doctors In Michigan That Prescribe Methadone (Page 26)

I'm interested in finding a private doctor's office (not a clinic) that will prescribe methadone. I can't afford these clinics! Does anyone know of a doctor???

I am an addict and I need a methadone doc not a clinic. Does anyone know of a doc in Grand Rapids, MI that will write a methadone script? Please send a name and a number if you know anyone!!

I know this post is old, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any private doctor's offices that prescribe methadone and are taking new patients in the Jackson michigan or Lansing Michigan area for pain? I don't mind driving up to an hour or so...

Greetings, I move back and forth from California to Michigan and have a B.A.K cage fusion lower lumbar with lamonechtomy , sorry if not correct spelling, I also had knee surgery on right knee, only to receive more injuries, I was dragged by San Francisco muni train and thrown out of the embarcadero station as my dogs leash was shut in the doors while he was pulled against and me head smashed teeth knocked out, memory loss, more damage to same knee which until this was controlled, and more to spine,, I was thrown out and due to memory loss put in a shelter when in fact had a farm property leased, while suffering from memory loss, every belonging owned including the copper in the house stolen along with rv being completely stripped and car stolen, including part of my records which is not big problem as my doctor there said he would provide any necessary required notes or his records which have been with for about a decade. Also before departing was locked in homeless shelter beat bloody and the remaining property stolen and threatened my life and even following me to ensure I did not go to the police all on record with my doc, I'm in Mt pleasant Michigan and can only take methadone as any shirt acting will develop a major tolerance which is completely unacceptable, just have been terrified to leave the house as I'm haunted by the memories and really would be more than great fun for proper help I seek, I've tapered half of my daily dose and stopped taking my anxiety /seizures /muscle relaxant with aid of mmj but not sure how a doctor will view as I have not been home in MI for about three years and laws have changed, my panic attacks have gotten so severe do to every thing, finding a doctor who won't judge my horrors experience before arrival here and even had my California doctor go out of way to send my scripts here but I need care not mail order and life is a roller coaster since that horror, I've some mess still but causing my own torture and is the fare to the others who care for me, if there is any kindness left in this world, would be more than great fun to get my life back just to walk and even leave the house with out my heart feeling as if it's going to burst out of my chest cavity. Again I just want. A chance to live I'm not suicidal but will not lie it's crossed my mind but the effect on others will be worse than my anxiety itself and have two fatherless nephew's who need me, I'm not going to beg but have faith there's an answer to my problem until my body can heal itself or close and switch over to mmj so I don't have to have a wall in front of every time I want change, so again if there are any kind souls that may answer my needed questions wow, I wouldn't know how to act as all the negatives attracted into my life. The experience is only going to make me a stronger individual so I can get back to what I do, I heal with earth medicine, but unfortunately my pain is a mess and body mangled and don't help my front teeth were shattered, my doc will verify my past experience if need be and offer what ever necessary to the doctor here when found I'm not one to go looking around so I suffer from the judgments made by some past doctor's do to the growing abuse problem and result in disabled patients without proper care it's so unfair but what can I do except have faith, so again sorry for this long event but thought if I was going to be noticed be honest and explain how necessary it is. Please kind hearted folks with a good heart if you have any knowledge how to stop the suffer and walk and maybe get back to the healing as there are many who seek my help. Hello I suffer from chronic pain in lower back witch radiates through both legs. From 2002 until 2008 I didn't realize it but I was becoming a nonfunctional drug addict while getting my prescription from Dr.'s. During that time I was on very high doses of the strongest opiates. In 2008 I realized I had a problem, though on methadone in past I never had in a controlled setting. I also received transportation to the clinic through the local DHS office. 6 months ago DHS stopped transporting me the 2 hours to get to the clinic. I was going 2 days a week then due to being clean. Not long after I found it impossible to make it. I smoked Pot to help the neasia. Worst mistake, that coused me to loose my take homes. And now I'm supposed to go 6 days a week. I don't require daily dosing anymore, I can be trusted. I live in Houghton Lake and even when I could get anything they wouldn't write methadone. I have lowered my dose from 250 to 70. I get cut in half for missing days then don't go back up cause its obvious I can't attend their. Is there any known pain Dr.'s I could be told of to help me. I could possibly drop a touch lower if needed. I appreciate any help and I can travel to see Dr just not daily. Thank you

i know of a clinic in Ypsilanti,however i dont hear any good things about clinics i dont have transportation but the bus system in ann arbor is very good. so with that said is there any docs in my area who would prescribe for addiction or write the script for pain.even if i am suffering from addiction? my life is unmanageable in the constant limbo i have been on methadone before for addiction and it worked very well. please lemme know my best option

Jacob, There really isn't anything good to say about clinics. As you know it's a daily thing and you have to jump thru all kinds of hoops for them. I hated them. You just can't have a life. there are Drs. that will write for addiction but it has to be an addiction specialist.I do not know of any in your area. You can look up methadone and suboxen doctors on line. Pain doctors will only do it for pain and you must be able to back it up. Good luck. perhaps someone else will know of a doctor,in your area.

guys and girls if i may suggest please get diwn on your dose it makes u dozzze and u miss everything,checkk out ibogaine treatment and highly recommended from a knowledged source.i stopped 160mg md/80mg/norco /and 3mg kp/i stopped instsnatly wd symptoms about 3hours total before realizing these meds have damageg our bodies/pleasedont if i may suggest go over120mg or you are sleeping and walking/benzos are not neccesarry/its about balanced curred mmj/equal lite equal dark/chemical cinversion of thc/to cbd /1:1 ratio/which takes three months to cure and about a year for wax to butter/cbd/tells cancer to die and experiencing a defficiancy/we been mislead and if i may suggest i can fix if my addvjce is taken/my pain anxiety i

I was going to Dr vargas every month to get my monthly refills of vicodin and one month I ran out and a girl from my work gave me a little piece of suboxone to take to help and when I did go back to vargas, they diagnosed me and found it in my system and dropped me as a patient! Now I need to find another Dr around midland Michigan that I can go to to get vicodin. I'm pretty desperate! Please someone help!!
