Doctors In Michigan That Prescribe Methadone (Page 16)

I'm interested in finding a private doctor's office (not a clinic) that will prescribe methadone. I can't afford these clinics! Does anyone know of a doctor???

Even if that's the case who's job is it to judge.we are talking about methadone here and I'm certain a quick fix is way easier to come by without coming here to find it.

Joenee, If I have offended anyone I do apologize. I'm one of those "old timers" and have read alot. I really did not me literaly come here for a fix. I meant the ones who have asked how to shoot meth or how do certain certain pills work together. I feel this site can be very resourceful for alot of people and I hope it continues that way. Good luck

Joenee, I don't know how long you have been on the site but I believe it you type in shooting methadone it would bring back some of those comments. I too know what Pam is talking about real idiots if I do say so.

My dr. Prescribes me 240 10 mg methadone pills monthly and 10 mg norco for breakthrough pain...of course I have had xrays and mri s done.proof of pain I guess.

Please help I have been addicted to opiots for the last 10 years I have lost my two great children to their father just recently. I also have hep c. I've been going to the Victory Clinic in Kalamazoo Mi for a little over a year now. When I first started I was told I had hep c funding go pay for it. But then 3 months later I was told that somehow my paperwork never got put through for the funding.and that I would have to start paying cash they told me this on a Friday and expected me to come up with $80 by that Monday or they would rapidly detox me. Fortunately I was able to barrow that money from a friend. Since then I have been using what little Unemployment I receive to pay the clinic but my Unemployment ends December 29th of this year and I don't know what to do. I live in Mending Mi which is about 35 minutes away from the clinic. Please help me

I dont think u understand, this medication saves lives, changes them for the better, i go to a clinic tho, i would never ask for prescribed done unless i knew i was dealing with a compassionate doctor that comprehends how fuct tne private clinics are, i was robbed outside of my clinic and they wont do anything, now i gotta transfer clinics cuz i they wont put the criminals out. I would feel much safer for me and my family if i could find a doc whose head isnt stuck up their ass and give my wife and i a chance. We both need 100mgs a day. The clinic has nurses water thier s*** down cuz pt showed 50mg serum level after 4hrs.....i dont know how this individual thinks he can prosecute free speech. I guess he would rather cover his blind eyes to the fact that methadone is the gold standard of care here. Sub is junk. Good for a short kick but will be harder than done to get off b.c they rushed it to market as the miracle drug, but they have no clue how to get people off it. Most subbies i know only take em when they cant afford thier dope. Its not for me. I am a chron pain patient also and my body just aches bad on sub, worse than even the pain tho is the sharp increase in my anxiety level. I cant even go out in public i just want to curl up in the fetal position and pray my body chews thru it, which it does. Then its off to copp street meds, which i hate to do with near a year clean...id be the model patient for the real doctors who are still bound to thier oath. I have my mri,ekg,ct scans ready when needed. The right wing will blame it all on obamacare. Obamacare is not what causes physicians to turn thier nose up at our kind, they just believe they know whats best for us. But thats pure arrogance. Only we know. And if you have an honest patient willing to even share that theyre on methadone for whatever reason, thats a person truly coming to u honest and humble. And yes, like all the drugs the pharm industry tries to overmedicate us with, it is dangerous used improperly. That is why my meds stay in a safe b.c i have small children.TRUE STORY then ill shut my mouth. Last time i dosed at my home clinic i got robbed and jumped by 3 other patients right on camera. I was injured but didnt call the fuzz, expecting it would be a no brainer they would be kicked out....NOPE. they arent gonna do s***. My 7yr old son had to witness it cuz we were headed north for holiday get away. Federal law requires them to guarantee patient safety. They did nothing, nor will they. They can keep patients like that is they just choose. I havent dosed in 4a days now and need to find a clinic to guest dose at on the drive home cuz im hurting. If you live in Macomb County I know a private doctor's office that prescribes Methadone (not liquid like a clinic) but you have to have a valid physical condition because they prescribe it for pain. Please email me directly for info at xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy}

My primary care doctor prescribes me methadone as well as another pain medication but I have a valid injury, with several MRI's, x-rays, and other tests showing proof.
