Doctors In Michigan That Prescribe Methadone (Page 14)

I'm interested in finding a private doctor's office (not a clinic) that will prescribe methadone. I can't afford these clinics! Does anyone know of a doctor???

ame here w good intentions to help w drs.that possibly can help.even the dr i see but after the way some not all of the people.but a few have acted and i admit i fell right into their stupid remarks. ive now decided not to give out any drs. Im very pleased w my dr. And lucky to have one.

Dr.Eric Kovan @ rehabilitation physicians pc. In Novi. He probably wont do methadone but everything else is game fr him.

I did not want to get sucked into all this crap on here,but I am new and just kept reading through all these posts and I just can't keep my mouth shut because I was bullied when I was younger and I feel that's what you are doing on here and I just have to stick up for the ones who are on here for help. They are allowed to give their opinion no matter what it is. I just had to say this to you...Talk about being a hypocrite. "I'm not giving out info, I am giving out info. People are ignorant, people are addicts, step off,blah blah blah. You whoever you are, can't even put a sentence together. Your keyboard doesn't make that many mistakes, the one typing it does.You are the one ruining this site. No this is not a spelling bee but if you read back every single post. You are the one who sounds like a moron that can not spell, you are the one being rude to everyone, you are the one judging everyone, you are the one who started all the bullcrap on here, you are the one being petty, you are the one who doesn't make any sense , you are the one who needs to get the hell off of here. Donuts, Way to go. I haved used this site for a long time. It is alot of nonsense here now. Most of us used it for help or to provide some wisdom. I very rarely use the site now at one pointe I was on it several times a day. I have stated in the past I no Ionger will use the site but I have fallen into the trap of having to say something. Please let's all stop the crap, refrain from using the site if it is a bunch of bunk that you want to say. I can do referrals for a live web site if someone wants that type. Please my friends we need to stick together. I do not want to see anyone sick so use the site correctly. Good Luck to all!

Most people can't handle the truth very good. So I'm gonna throw my 2cents in for what it's worth.The FACT is not one of you know almost nothing about each other so to send somebody to any DR. with the intent to get strong narcotics not knowing them is absolutely ludicrous and can cause death. This whole topic should be taken off. Bet the family members that have lost loved ones due to such strong opioids would agree.SO if you think your "helping" people think again.

Marcus, You are so right, people can't handle the truth. Guess what, you are sooo wrong. This is a far one for ya but have you ever read a book and felt the character's pain? Perhaps you should read a post like that. We are not all a**holes. I tried for almost 2 years to get a doctor and then Pam who I never met gave me a helping hand and I will never forget her kindness. I have a new life now and "my" family has one also due to this site.

marcus, you need to ask my family about their living daughter. She was able to finish college, raise a family herself and has a seat on city council. The information she received hit it out of the ballpark.

Would the city councel be as accepting had they known about methadone? I doubt it but you could ask them. Anyways just like all the other postings your missing the point I made whether or not you want to deal with it. It is very valid. Having a daughter that from what your leading one to assume was on drugs before methadone you shoulda got my point right off the bat. Leave the medication where it belongs in Drs.hands not a website stranger that knows a few DRs that write narcotics.

Posting information on this site about a possible doctor who prescribes methadone and may be able to help out those truley in need is in no way irresponsible. That is a ridiculous statement. No one forces anyone to contact that certain doctor, no doctor who knows what he is doing will just prescribe methadone for just anyone who walks into their practice. That is the point of this site...to recommend legitimate doctors who can HELP those of us out there who are in need of pain management, not to find the local crack house. How could you have missed the point so badly that it literally caused this tirade of yours Kamarx, PDR, Marcus and the rest of you hipocrates. Pam, a legitimately caring person who spent quite a bit of her time on this website just trying to help others out, has become so frustrated with the way this site is now playing out that she is distancing herself and all the help she was giving. Read back thru some of the older posts to see how helpful Pam was being. But the pettiness and immaturity of some people have caused her to want to distance herself. Think of how many people she COULD have helped??? Now we'll never know.

I found this through a anonymous call what all you people are doing on here isn't kosher. Now you all have IP addresses.I will be in contact with other authorities about this matter.Until you've seen as many ODs as I have young and old,unfortunately this is REALITY you can trust I will be looking into this matter and don't think you can't be charged with solicitation of private Doctors.consider yourselves warned.The moderator has been very helpful concerning this serious matter.

What are you talking about? I don't understand what you are getting at...how can someone get in trouble for trying to help someone else out? Solicitation of doctors? What does that mean? These doctors are on a web site promoting themselves, some of us are just passing along that information. If there has been wrong doing it was unintentional. Isn't the doctor the one responsible for the decision to prescribe any medication to a particular patient? I found this website when I was looking for a doctor to prescribe me medication for chronic pain that I have been dealing with for over 5 years....I was directed to this and other websites by Beaumont Hospital's 1-800 number doctor finder....I am truly baffled and can't believe you are legitimate. If you are I assure you no harm was ever intended, I was trying to help others in my same prediciment. If you are not shame on you for scaring innocent people into thinking they are doing something wrong.

This is one of many sites that anyone may go to and speak. No one has been solicitating. The heading on these sites are for referals for doctors put there by themselves. This is not a site with kickbacks. Most have really wanted help. Of course there are the idiots who ask the dope related questions but they can be found on any site. We all can go to the yellow pages and get a telephone number and post it. The doctor is the one that makes the decision and they don't do this lightly or shouldn't. There must be a need. I work and had no clue where to go from a clinic to a doctors office and I was one that was helped.

I was told I could go to this site for advice but some guy is talking about busting people. I am currently on 95 ml for 2 years and I want to detox which I have never done. I was told to go 5ml a week for 2 weeks then 2 ml a week after that. Can anyone let me know what they have done?

I've been there so i know how scary it can seem.the ONLY way to get thru ot with hardly amy discomfort is to go down in mgs SLOWLY thats the way to really successful decrease ur dose by 5 mg a month then hold for a few weeks and so on.now if you wanna hurry out of a clinic weekly decreases u can do it that way but it usually doesnt work very well.you be feeling sick as hell. Its up to you listen to your body then go from there.suboxone may be a choice you can try but your dose of methadone would havta be at 20-30mgs. good luck to you.
