Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Columbus Ohio Or Springfield Ohio (Page 4)

My doctor had a stoke and was prescribing me 30 mg a day of methadone for a chronic pain syndrome..I am a 51 yr old that has never abused drugs!! Does anyone know a dr. or pain dr. that is willing to prescribe this to me..Either in Col, ohio, or Springfield ohio!! Thanks for your time!!

I just wanted to voice an opinion after reading that post about being a guinea pig and being treated like drug addict. It's sad when ppl have legitimate pain and issues, the pain spirals into depression cause your life is no longer yours, the anger cause you feel hopeless, and all the hoops and guidelines don't matter. And in my opinion the addicts still get to abuse the drugs meant to help the ones in need. And it seems the path isn't headed in any better direction. Just doctors afraid to give it to you or taking back what they prescribed for years. It's sad and hopeless, you feel isolated with no help. I just wanna walk without pain. I'd like some happiness back. The drug abusers are still catching their buzz while ppl whom need true help suffer.

I also live in Hamilton, I wish you all the luck in the world! I am trying to find a PM Doctor right now due to my insurance will not cover my doctor I have had for the past 8 year's and I can no longer see him. He was great though! Try Cincinnati Centers for Pain Relief! He WILL help you. I can NOT find any one that will help me now and I can NOT afford to see him any longer. I am about to the same thing another writer said his friend did because I can NOT live in all this pain the rest of my life, I am only 57 years old and I just cant do it!

The best pain management Dr in the Cincinnati area is closing his practice in October. I just found out. I was a patient of his for over 11 years and then had no insurance and got stuck at Cincinnati VA. Dr. Nilesh/Neil Jobalia at Cincinnati Centers for Pain Relief in Hamilton. He diagnosed me and gave me a life and then VA took it away. The VA dr finally referred me out cause my case is too difficult and I was going back to him when I found out he's closing. I have central pain syndrome and I'm dying. I have a disabled husband and now I have nowhere to go. I can't do injections anymore. Had many epidurals and facets and the last 2 almost killed me from a bad reaction. I had radio frequency ablation that went horribly wrong where I couldn't walk from the pain and had to get nerve blocks. I just want the life I had with Dr jobalia.

My father was in the army for year's, all of a sudden they could not find his paper work, he did not get ANY of his retirement, medical, NOTHING!!! We fought for year's, we had his paper work, but for some reason, that was not good enough! He passed away and got the whole army funeral service, but that was it!!! Talk about not fair, my father risked his life everyday and when he got out was told "too bad, if we can not find OUR paper work, you can fight till you die and it won't do you any good!" and it didn't!!! WHAT A SHAME TO TREAT OUR VET'S AFTER THEY HAVE FOUGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY, RISK THEIR LIVES, LEFT THEIR FAMILIES TO DO THIS, AND THIS IS THE THANKS THEY GET WHEN THEY GET HOME!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW SOME OF THESE PEOPLE CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT IN THEIR BED'S, WHEN THE PEOPLE THAT GAVE THEM THE RIGHT TO EVEN HAVE THAT BED ARE SLEEPING ON THE STREET AND DOING WITHOUT EVERYTHING THEY TRULY NEED!!! THEY SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF THEIR SELVES! THESE VET'S NEED AND DESERVE ANYTHING AND EVERY THING THEY NEED OR EVEN WANT! IF IT WERE NOT FOR THEM, I DON'T KNOW WHERE WE WOULD BE! I'm so sorry that happened to your dad. It's not right and he definitely deserved his benefits. I have a bunch of crap wrong with me since I came back from desert storm. Not of the diseases I'm fighting run on either side of my family. I applied for disability in 2003 and was denied. That was a joke. So when I went to apply again, I was told I needed to have every record from every dr appointmentsince the symptoms began. Well I saw so many that I couldn't remember them all so I haven't applied again. We have extensive financial issues now. Our heat pump died 3 years ago so we only have ac in one room and have to use emergency heat to hear the house in winter which is costing a small fortune. Our roof is leaking, the transmission is going on the only car we can drive which also has no ac. And the list goes on. My husband gets disability but he makes $70 a month too much to qualify for food stamps and like 100 too much to qualify for heating assistance. Between his medications, mortgage, electric etc, it's always a game what gets paid. I don't think we're alone. We're the people who have always played by the rules but we'll fall through the cracks because we make under $100 too much to qualify for anything. It isn't right but what can we do?

So now, we have the added stress of not getting our pain meds and trying to find another dr. My husband made 1 mistake after over 9 years in pain mgt. He tested+ for alcohol. A very small amount. So it's difficult to find another dr. VA is referring me out to pain mgt cause the Dr can't handle my case but I don't know who to trust. I'd been with Dr jobalia for so long and so many others around here I've heard horror stories about. My husband's mri proves how much he needs meds but since the VA dr thinks I have central sensitization, occipital neuralgia, fibromyalgia, severe mid back pain where it's hard to breathe deeply, reynaud's, severe acid reflex and can't take nsaids, pcos, neck and sciatica pain, ptsd, anxiety etc, I'm pretty much screwed. I'm thankful for the 8 years of having a life but it's hard now that it's taken away. All I can say is that I'm sure I'm not alone! My best to you!

Where can I find a pain doctor that prescribes methadone? I'm on it now but my doctor says he is weaning me off of the methadone & the Percocet so he can make me healthy again. I'm 65 years old with diabetes, pacemaker, arthritis, sciatica & neuropathy. How is he going to make me healthy again?

Dr. MOSLEY IS A COMPLETE QUACK. HE WANTED MY HUSBAND TO GO TO REHAB WHEN HE HAD BEEN OFF HIS MEDS FOR 1 1/2 YRS. WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HELP HIM.

Love Dr. Henry. Great Dr. He now has an office in Lewis Center Ohio off 23 behind Menards in a Mt Carmel medical facility. There are 2 MD'S, 1 PA AND 1MA (I THINK).

Are there any doctor's in or around the hamilton, fairfield, or westchester ohio who will prescribe the same medicine I have been on for year's? I went to one in west chester and when he saw what I was on, he would not even treat me, or even talk to me!!! He just walked out of the room and sent a letter to my primary care doctor that I needed rehab!!! Which was totally wrong!!! I need the same medication I have been on for the past 7 or 8 years, maybe even longer!!! I live with debilitating pain every single day of my life! When I was seeing dr. Jobalia I finally got out of a wheel chair, off the walker, and had a some what normal life. Since that has happened to dr. Jobalia that I had seen for the past 7 or 8 years, then I went to a doctor in west chester, ohio but no one and I mean no one, that will prescribe the same medicine's that I have been on for years? The only thing that made life some what normal again? My regular pain medicine doctor had his license taken away and the was the cincinnati centers for pain relief. Dr. Jobalia! I wish and pray that theses laws they are passing would go away!!! They are making the people that really need these medicines now can not get them! If the goverement think's for one second that they are going to stop the drug abuse and the overdoses by passing all these new laws, they are dead wrong, the addicts are still doing what they have always done, and will continue to do!!! All they are doing by this is making it impossible for the people that truly need these med.'s!!! I really hope they all get some thing where they need the medication and can not and will not get them! Then again, they will, we the everyday people can't, but I guarantee they will if they need them!!! They are not stopping one thing by these laws, all they are doing is hurting and making life impossible for the everyday people that really need them and are not abusing them. I have never abused anything in my life!!! Good luck to every one that has had their doctor taken away and can not find anyone understanding that all we need is our medication that has now been taken away from us!!!

GOOD LUCK, BUT I HATE TO TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO PAIN MED.'S !!! NO ONE EVEN AROUND HERE WILL PERSCRIBE YOU ANY THING ANY MORE!!! Actually, that is not quite the truth. There are a few. I am a home health nurse...my patients see some specific doctors, that do prescribe. Several friends...go to specific doctors...that prescribe. Tge only problem with some of these doctors...if you have other health issues..you are screwed.
