Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 247)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Phoenix… I wanted to let you know that I am thrilled with you and your hubby's response to a new docdo you have hope after two decades of frustration is remarkable! I wish both of you only the best and it appears that perhaps as Medicaiderz just may finally have a solution to the problem of I guess I won't be eating today since I need the money for my doctor. I am sick right now for the next six weeks but I will call and schedule an appointment before my next appointment and I'll have to work with my boyfriend because Louisville is not exactly close to Englewood but It certainly is doable and most likely well worth it. A post after I see him and let you know have a goes. I really am happy for you and your husband.let the healing begin

G mama, when did you go there? This info came to me via X in-law so I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case due to her duplicitous. But I was told new dept open November 1st. Kaiser never blew my skirt up anyway but my in laws love Kaiser as much as they do the Democratic party. Did I mention X?

oh yeah has anyone else noticed all these different generic or nust different brands. my er brand rx d last month was ggarbage..now i have to pay lyft to vet the brands i need.

Hi I rrecommended Mapelton, Comprehensive pain clinic is not compassionate at all..and very busy,..Who or what is Dex ??? I keep seeing that...Mapelton was good but does not meet my needs and personality clash with P.A.

Lincoln was busy today but there are other patients there for other reasons, but w/the amount we chronic painers pay, he did get to us in a timely, not rushing manner, I was outta there in less than 45 min. While I saw other folks there before me, he puts us at more of a priority.
Very happy with this provider still!! I did tell them I would not likely be using only one pharmacy because I'm used to 2 ER brands that work for me. Mallinkrofdt ,endocet,and actually I got Mylan and they were rather large, but to my surprise they worked.
The brand that years ago worked but now seems not to work for me and that is Rhodes. I ran short this month because of the Rhodes .....I did tell doc, hey I ran out on Sunday night, he understood.
To be very honest on my IR I am looking for Endocet 10/325, if anyone knows of a pharmacy that fills or has endocet brand Percocet plz do let me know.

Lincoln was busy but u are right in and out. Girls said fee increase for new pts. Try the b12 shots, I was skeptical but they work, henreally listens. Having goals help as he wants u to achieve those

Bjc, I'm sorry you haven't found what you're looking for. The nerve ablation, once done is done. Depending on what type of Doc you're looking for it may need to be more than one doc b/c you're on medicaid my friend. And that right there means a lot of Xtra tap dancing for you. So BJC, do a read back to the 9/20 post until now. You'll see there are docs listed. The one I mentioned in CO springs th as the a member posted as well as one in denver. Typically, they refer you out for everything going they don't do. But I suggest you widen your search criteria to state wide. Cast a large net bjc and read the posts b/c ppl were flipping out b/c a few docs shut their doors.

In the back if my head I recall jet mech saying he had a specialist. It stands at b/c he had medicaid initially, then obtained great insurance when he s r ar t ed job back.

May I ask how old you are, just general range is fine.

jane doe, were u there this last week? i wonder if it was you who i nodded and smiled as you sat to my right. it was an am appointment for me, just curious. i know we should all meet up, but i dont drive and i live in aurora. i always put 25$ to the side, so i can grab a Lyft or Uber, so that's my 25$. now i have to cut back on something else. i already do coupons and ad sales and i save about 25$. however i did find the form for the doc to sign online. you print it, and once the form is received then u r able to schedule trips. i have a slightly different Medicaid cuz i have Medicare, going to enroll with Humana this week. anyway sorry for the novel. Did you feel even though it was busy, that you still got seen, and still had time to express concerns? i was still only there 45 min. i was 10 min early, so i was able to express my concerns.

I just started looking for a new pain doctor and I tried calling dr hong from the old posts. Their number just keeps hanging up before ringing. Did they go out of business or something???

Phoenix, I have a spinal cord injury. I shattered T8, 9, 10, in 1998, but what Dr did not find at time was that I had torn all soft tissue in my right hip, so as the yrs went by I got more and more sensation back and it was PAIN from the Damage. I am considered totally paralyzed, but I do have internal sensation in my back and pelvis and down to my knees. I am wheelchair bound...The human body is not made to sitall day long.. I delt with the pain fine when I was on actiq for breakthrough pain and the 100mcq patch with morphine. I am 50yrs old...I cannot imagine being in this much pain for the rest of my life, 10 to 20 more yrs... As of Jan of this yr the oral Fentanyl was stopped by my Dr. and by insurance..I should probably try and get a different Rx plan for 2017..I am trying to go to L.A. for joint ablation, but have 12 days left prior to chest x-ray to make sure blood clots are gone....I am at a point that I consider my Spinal cord injury a terminal condition, because I can not live much longer in this much pain..I hate marijuana and hate the way being stoned feels. Fentanyl did not make me feel high, and I did not abuse my Rx..But the DEA is determining what meds we should use and not, then group opioid users with opioid abusers to illicit drug addicts..it is a screwed up situation...I have a degree in cell biology, so I know human physiology..statistics show a person with my injury live about 20 to 30yrs after, so it's not like it will mess with me later in life, I am later in life. My biggest problem, besides being in pain is that I look young for my age and sitting in a chair people look down at me. I am single so the only people that help me is family, which again adds to me seeming a lot younger then I am...I do not know who to appeal to, to be put back on Fentanyl. I have tried every procedure and medication out there and it is what works.

Nevermind, apparently google is dumb and was giving me TWO wrong numbers for him. I got it. I wonder how I am going to afford $290 though. If I can afford that, it's way better than having to deal with being treated like an ****t or drug seeker. Hell, I want to quit, it's just so hard.

Hello to all. I'm just posting this because I have a doc but he only gives me 15 days at a time (For fear my meds get stolen I don't have to wait long days cuz he won't do an emergency script) but I found out they're doing the pain meds only thing. This person will be your new pc, the name of the clinic is aurora south and I had a few friends go and there they keep you on what you've been on for your comfort. They will try hard to get you as comfy as they can and very big doses. Warning - if you've never been on something plz don't ask them to prescribe it. It's a sign that one needs recovery or is addicted to narcotics, so if you need to, see any doc at this location. It has a few urgent care facility's, so if you need meds but appt. is out a week, they will contact your doc and fill until your next appt. To everyone, I hope and wish nothing but the best. I'm very happy you've all seen that if a doctor is caring and wants a good rep he will be on the same page as you. I wish nothing but the best and hope one day we could just direct the NEWBEES TO A PLACE THAT'S NOT MONEY HUNGRY AND CARES ABOUT US AS WELL AS GOOD HEALTH CARE. I LOVE HOW HELPING WE CAN BE TO JUST A STRANGER THAT'S IN NEED AND PPL WE CARE ABOUT. YOU ALL HAVE SO MUCH PASSION FOR ONE ANOTHER, AND WENDY HOW U BEEN?
