Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 226)
UpdatedI have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!
CPR is not closed!
I do believe that they are either hiring another Dr. or maybe a PA.
Has anyone gone in and talked to Amanda, Ashley, Patti or maybe even Christy.
I know that Leonard was very seriously injured in a horse accident, but he hasn't been in in months.
Let's all wait till someone has talked to somebody before we panic, if worse comes to worse, we can pull together and contact another pain clinic. Wendy, how did you hear about Cordant? And do you know why?
The guy that answers calls told me get away from that pill mill it's going down. He told me they will not be filling there orders any longer.
Wow, that is scary! I wonder what is up? As soon as i have any info i will pass it on here. Will make some calls tomorrow, try to have a good night and get some rest
I am confirming that what Wendy said was a very close version of what I was told by the current pharmacy staff we are mandated to use: they will no longer be accepting any prescriptions written by CPR.
Did they say why? Details, not Just calling them a pill mill.
Do they know what is happening?
No, pharmacy staff could not answer all my questions; however, they were able to tell me they would not longer do business with CPR.
Previous post has a typo: I meant to write" will no longer" do business with CPR.
Your age makes a difference because the younger you are the more it will hurt your brain. You can make your own pain meds with simple chemistry. People have used Ibuprofen can use acetone, a little heat sodium hydroxide and absolute ethanol. But, do not do this as it is harmful and gives a terrible felling at times. Look it up. Some people take a little Xanax with methadone but, that is too “dopy.” Try mixing 3 table spoons of kratom (by in bulk as it soon as possible on the web as it may become illegal soon but, sign the petition to keep it legal while you’re at it [buy a kilo ($230.00 but 5 grams of extract 2 grams cost around $35.00. The demand will always be there, especially older people with arthritic, to get off opioids, and better sleep. Very much so from people from Asia. Don’t bring it over there because many places will execute you for having it. In the Philippines as they will kill you on the spot and leave your body (the cops will!) For now Colorado remains legal and can by it in some stores. If it becomes illegal like these social conservatives and the top-cop in the U.S. wants, the price will skyrocket in the black market the extract will be more expensive then blow. Kratom has been used for pain four thousands of years and is actually used to get people of hard-core opioid attacks because it mimics opioids and is habit forming less then coffee but, get the Bali or red vein. The best is from Thailand. If made illegal, bring it back from Canada. Don't get the Menga Da. That is stimulant and feels shaky but some people like it. It is just a ground up, natural leaf, and non-toxic. I wish I had the money to buy three more kilos (at least one). It has to grow in south Asian soil. Import soil. Buy stuff like Triaminic from France and stuff. Get activist connection made legally in Mexico. Or, go to Mexico and make a deal sending ways and money transfer. Look at Portugal and Uruguay, always Mexico… a shady pharmacists with a large purpose and die it blue with water and color and put it in a scope bottle. Mix b6 and Saint John’s wort’s with over the counter strong pain and soak back pain patches and evaporate all mixed. Get lidocaine from a dentist for a local anesthetic that one inj's. into injured area or ask your doctor for lidocaine patches and look up what do with them. Weak though. Look for pain medication while volunteer at retirement home and write down the doctor - do not steal anyone's meds! Find a pill man. Chinese can find it for some reason. The best way is legal - Go to a suboxone doctor, you can’t have THC in your system, tell him you are going through bad withdrawals from pain meds from a bad accident, and don't want to be on pain pills anymore. Suboxone is an opioid and pain killer but, does not mess with your head. As long as that is the only thing in your urine the doctor will keep writing it. If you want more, the next time tell him you still get withdraws after 3 hours, AS the rules state, I can't tell you the doctor or HEALTH Center. "Look" around int. 225 S. Parker for your friend "Grace." The only thing is the medical name is Buprenorphine - Naloxone, it is actually sub or maybe generic for suboxone but, acts the same. The Naloxone prevents all opioids or Alcohol weeks after a person takes this. One can only feel the opioid in the Suboxone. It is strong and have to take it under the tongue and when you stop taking it you will go through withdraws so you need to wean off. The only thing you can do for these withdraws is cigarettes (a bunch of nicotine patches or gum are better) and strong heavy Kush indicia green (legal in Colorado), Omeprazole (over the counter) as one can still feel all that but, Benzos, narcotics, anything under schedule 1 can't be in your system if you want a refill. For the first time you can say I want the suboxone, Alcohol will just give you a headache and if you’re in an accident the pain meds will not work but, that is a legal and easy way to get strong pain meds without showing things like x-ray of a busted up body. Or go to a NA meeting and speak of addiction to pain pills, still in pain. Make some friends and they can point you in the right direction because most relapse. Get some young guy to fetch it and don't give most of the money until they come back. Truckers know a lot about this. Injured military or injured Athletes are a good source to point you in the correct path. I got mine by researching what to say to pain doctors and allergic to Ibuprofen or Aleve (naproxen). Pain scales should always be told 9 or 10 if the chart is a 1-10 pain scale with 10 being the worst and say the pain has made you pass out and fall with one wrong move placing weight on the leg to a herniated disc sending what feels like electricity up your spine and causes you to lose your breath. I did get hit by something big and have pain in my back so I switch from kratom to oxy every other day so I do not get addicted. Please, Please do not abuse or share medication as it will be in the doctors file and that information will tell the doctor that you are not to be trusted with narcotics. Never doctor shop or try to get a refill early, make up excuses that you dropped them down the sink, and long term effects include loss of your bowels so you wear a diapers or permanently wear a capitol. Too much at one time can stop you breathing and tell your doctor you have to exercise vigorously or your “diabetes will reemerge as it has before. Don’t drink strait liquor and will cause painful constipation, possibly making your body septic. This is all legal for the most part. I did not say buy from a drug dealer or cross a border or possess illegal drugs or without a non-expired prescription. Further, if you take just a little too much and you will appear weird and people will think you are drunk and can even catch a DUI being impaired by a toxicity not needing alcohol. Do not upgrade to street narcotics as dealers often poison one person out of 20 or so making people think they overdosed by doing it wrong so they will try to find what they think is really strong. They often do this by dripping a drop of pure liquid fentanyl as it will be labeled as a drug overdose. Finally, it is a good idea to have narcan in plain site with directions on how to use it if someone finds you shallow or not at all breathing. Often, that is how overdoses are found and no one under 20 should be using this unless in a hospital while being monitored. Stuff like oxycodone are at least twice as strong as strait morphine. A bit too much and you will be dead especially using the same amount after detoxing. This is for major pain, not recreation. Not saying most people do. Have some marijuana or a beer for enjoyment, not ingesting narcotics.
DEE,
thank you for sharing, but share time is over!
I'M ALSO A PATIENT OF CPR AND I'M CONFUSED. THE PHONE IS BUSY. WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON? ANY OTHER OPTIONS? ??
KRISTY,
i was just informed that they, CPR, is in legal trouble.
I can't get any info from anyone.
I called dr. Hong's number and all i am getting is a fast busy signal. Can one of his patients call his number and verify that. Thank you
Are the last 4 digits of dr. Hong's number 7424?
I just getting a fast busy signal.
Not saying that this has anything to do with you guys not being able to reach your Drs today, but The Denver Post started a series of articles on opioids and Colorado being #2 in the country. They talked about all the things that are being done in this state to stop the overdoses. I read 4 days of this bulls***, with no mention of helping the chronic pain patient. Could be things were put in motion after that expose to look at certain Drs/clinics.
Dr h is answering, hope it is not true for you all, my last dr got addicted and his door closed, so sad
Wendy have you called Dr h cuz if ur place is gonna be closing.....I'm assuming Dr h office wil get flooded and apts wil take forever cuz tuesdays are only apts for new patients and Dr h allows mj in ur system as long as u tell him cuz he does do medical marijuana cards as well that's cheaper tho but $290 on 1st visit and $150 after like I said he is excellent and you will not be sorry u are his main priority when he is in tha room he will not walk out until you say your done and he actually listens and does not see any of us as druggies or any of those other lovely names we all have been called
What are the last 4 digits of Dr. H phone number? This was i can locate his number on Google
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO. ..I HAVE BEEN STRETCHING THE MEDS THAT I HAVE LEFT AND WILL BE OUT MONDAY AND I'M SCARED. ....HELP! !
WHO IS DR HONG? HIS NUMBER? I NEED TO STAY LOOKING FOR A NEW DR. .. I HEARD THAT CLINICA COMPESINA WILL TAKE YOU AND THEY TAKE MEDICAID
Dee very detailed info. How did you go about finding connections in Mexico? just curious
How does anyone know that CPR is in legal trouble? Last I knew they were waiting on interview call backs and they might have put the phone off the hook because of too many calls. Their pharmacy can say they won't do business with them but it doesn't mean they are shut down. Now Amanda claims she was working hard at finding someone but she could leave early Wednesday and get all pretty at home before 4 instead of staying and working everyday to make it happen yeah she posted a picture on fb with her hair and makeup done but she of course is working so hard! Then they claimed they were going to be working all weekend too so they could get people in and or find another provider but of course another lie. I really don't know what is going on but if they knew they were in trouble why not tell us so we could have been looking ourselves? Instead we are left hanging. Great place
