Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 225)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

I am a patient at Colo Pain Relief. (CPR). I got a call cancelling my appt saying they will call back once they know more. I tried reaching the office several times, and no one picks up and I can't seem to leave a message. Does anyone have any further information?

I will run out of meds very soon.

I just wanted to clarify my recent post. This pain management clinic, CPR, is located in Wheat Ridge, CO.

I really would like to know if I will have the opportunity to get my prescriptions soon.

Lucy have you tried for SSDI? They have a ticket to work program if you want to work and the benefits pay a lot more. I know a lot of people who qualify for SSI also have SSDI

Hi. Quite a few messages back someone mentioned Dr. Dex or Drex and gave his number and said he prefers text. Whoever that was please tell me about your experience with him. Will he prescribe whatever pain meds you are currently on?

I got the same call and don't know what is going on you would think they would have someone by now call again but if you know anything please share I will be out tomorrow and I'm not getting a call back or anything.

To all who are concerned about Colorado pain relief otherwise known as CPR dr. Hector frisbee is out of the office on vacation. they tried to reschedule all appointments until next week. No one will be in the office until next week

Smalls, That is what I was told on my voice mail message. However, that is not true, Unfortunately. I heard from a very reliable source that they are shut down due to a legal issue. As I am not one to fabricate information, be assured the source of my information is incredibly reliable.

Now, in the Seattle, WA metro area, several pain clinics are still serving clients although the leading prescribing doctor is no longer allowed to do so. Maybe CPR will be able to hire other providers to keep services in place.

I am hoping we will know more details by early next week.

That's funny because they said they will be working Friday Saturday and Sunday to try and get patients in when they have someone.

Think about it. If hector was out of town, the office would still be open to serve all the suboxone patients. Instead, the office is shut down without warning.

Does anyone know about Dr. Dex or Drex in or around Denver. I have his cell and he responds quickly to texts. Please share any experience with this doctor.

Jeff, methadone is a much stronger med with a long half life. It is really good pain reliever, I asked my pm doc to prescribe it about 4 years ago, and he declined, he stated that he didn't prescribe it. Do you mind me asking just how many a day / at a time were you taking the Norco? I didn't know very much about methadone years ago. Have you read up on it?
