Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 122)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Lucy just started another job she's very busy .The clinic you can go to is Cpr or Mapleton in boulder.Their are not many options left so good luck .As far as work from home mystery shopping is the only legit job out there does require your time and gas .

Update on Tom , I'm sorry I'm not posting much .Tom probably going back in hospital. I can't keep pain controled.Our truck broke down today they demoted him as of 8am .He's depress I'm worried no vehicle .The harvest isn't ready yet . If we could have our group before thanksgiving awsome I could u the support .

As for working from home, my wife does some various writing jobs from home. It pays depending on how much and often you work at it. When she really works at it....she can make 30 or 40 an hour.....

Believe me....I don't want to. I am moving tomorrow.... completely out of my pain meds till my paper prescription arrives in the mail... possibly tomorrow.... Monday probably....and I am in bad pain. We live on the 3rd floor and the stairs are killing me.
Right now I eat ibuprofen like M&M candy to keep from going nuts!....I don't think it's working though!!

I didn't say there weren't any most were bs .Far as getting meds here in Co because of all the junkies doctors hands are tied.The Dea has came down hard on Co we have the highest pill habit in the United States .

Hi, Chris... You can try Colorado Pain Relief in Wheatridge. I don't go there, but many on here have and with good results. Good luck!!

Actually from my experience from living all over this country, CO isn't too bad for pill junkies. Utah is worse, WA is worse is all drugs. The gulf Coast states, especially GA and FL are where the pill mill problems are really centered.
CO has some issues, but I am finding that most of the docs in this area seem to like the holistic methods, and other treatment types. Those work for many people, but for people with chronic pain, usually those methods do not work. This is what I am going through.

I don't know what they prescribe everyone different. The cost is 225.00 to start them with a referral from a Doctor .If you have insurance call Mapleton in Boulder .Or Google pain management in Colorado .Cpr is ok now but you can't go in with a shopping list asking for meds you'll be sent away .The clinic has change drastically for the better .

I will ask my wife the decent places to write for. I know one is called Zerys. ...or something like that. What it is is someone wants something written.... contacts say, Zerys and it goes on a board. You pick and choose the articles you want to write.
You send in a writing sample, they evaluate it and if they like what they see, hire you on. Once you do it for a while, some clients submit straight to you....that's where the better money starts coming in. Do a search for Zerys or any write from home places. There are quite a few and my wife writes for about 5 of them on a regular basis.

They don't treat anything but pain issues .Google the Reach center they have councilors that prescribe psych meds.

DenColorado, What I'm trying to tell you is , You need a mental health Doctor not pain management. What I ment by shopping list was don't go in asking for a certain med it makes you look like a seeker and they red flag your chart .Let them suggest it .

Wendy, good advice.
Dencolo, I know dozens of people who are prescribed xanax, it's not difficult to get, but you need to go through a psychiatrist or PCP, not pain management.

Horrible. If they had top five worst dental visits, I would be number one for sure lol. I had a panic attack before, during, and after. I go back on the 19th for and extraction, then have to have a root canal done and a couple fillings. I have to go through all this because i don't floss, ladies and gents, FLOSS THEM, FLOSS THEM REAL GOOD LOL.
