I am located in Arkansas near Little Rock and I need to find a doctor willing to prescribe pain medicine. Please help if you know of any doctors in my area. Thank you.

I have been seen for years in Springfield with Dr Ben he is good at anabolic steroid injections that really help me, I most my insurance in MO. Now I live in Harrison, AR and am on new Obamacare insurance that doesn't work out of state.
So I'm looking for a referal to a spine Dr that's good at shots, and will take Ambetter insurance. I'd prefer to go to Fayetteville as my daughter lives there and you always need a driver after the procedure. Thankfully I have a PCP who is willing to prescribe me pain meds and is sympathetic to my extreme pain and doesn't treat me like a criminal.

My heart goes out to each & every one of you, having similar experiences. My case is very complicated. I have the best primary Dr I've ever had the pleasure to help me. Could go into a lot of detail; however I'd like to stay with the topic at hand. My pain Dr. is Garlapati @ Arkansas Pain Management. They also have physical therapy and other offices like the Fibromyalgia clinic (have not used). Dr Morse at the Rehabilitation side is phenomenal! Great communication, great staff & able to find diverse & multiple solutions. Their office is located in North LIttle Rock, Arkansas. I have been treated there for 2 years & hope to keep seeing them so long as I am dealing with many diagnoses that contribute to my high level of chronic pain. God bless yh'all

Hey water boy 1971... I was with dr Daidone for 2 yrs b4 Rabien took over... This man is horrible with God like complex and will not listening to you I had to fire him I could not see him anymore he kept me so upset now I too am searching for another pain doctor in NWA any suggestions I loved Dr Daidone !!!

I need a pain management doctor in Fortsmith, Arkansas that can prescribe hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10mg/650mg for severe back pain, neck pain and depression/anxiety.

I also have chronic pain and have had my meds decreased to almost nothing. I used to be happy and enjoy my life even though I was never pain free. Now I can barely walk and I stay in tears. My pain is severe and I can't stand it much longer. Are there any doctors who will help me? Are they all being threatened? I know mine was. We are being treated worse than animals. How can I protest this? Who should I write?? How can they be so cruel?

I need to find another doctor, but I made a big mistake. I had been taking 90 Tramadol a month and 30 Tylenol Codeine 4. I ran out of my medications and I couldn't get in to see my doctor, so I went to another doctor that a friend had suggested. I got 60 Tramadol and no other medications. I went once, but that was all it took. My regular doctor found out and said his hands were tied He could not see me anymore. I would not have gone back to that other doctor. It was a one time thing. I am worried every doctor out there will see in my medical records. I have a lot of scar tissue that hurts everyday. I have never asked for anything stronger than Tylenol Codeine 4. It would really be nice if I could just take that every 2 months. Do you know of any doctor that would understand and will prescribe that?

I agree with you candace. Dr. Piechel is the biggest arrogant jerk I've ever met in my life. I tried him out the month before last and he doesn't give decent meds anymore that help because of the new laws they've passed. He wouldn't even prescribe me what my other doctor has had me on forever that actually helps me and on top of that the nurses charge you $20 for each prescription that may have to call and get pre-approved through Medicaid which I have never been reimbursed for. Terrible place. Everybody beware, don't ever go to this jerk.

She is sweet but as of now with the new cdc guidelines she is decreasing all of the patients meds because she is scared of losing her license.I am looking for a new pain dr because I have to work and without the proper dosage I am in chronic pain.

I'm in desperate need of pain pills for chronic back and hip pain. My PCP won't give refills... I AM NOT taking more than prescribed and he still refuses to refill. All pain clinics want to do is painful inj's. that only give relief for about 7-10 days. Then I'm right back to severe pain... And I can only get inj's. every 3 months. Please help! I'm in Conwau, Arkansas and need any suggestions you may have...

Hello, and thank you in advance for all your help. I have recently moved to Northwest Arkansas from Nebraska. I have been on 30 mg oxycodone three times a day since breaking my back in a car accident. I have a rod in my spine and there was a lot of nerve damage as well. I've been having problems finding a pain management doctor in this area that is accepting new patients. The one doctor I did find that had an opening refused to prescribe me anything stronger than a 10 mg hydrocodone twice a day and said that I needed to work my way down and if my pain was too severe he would gradually increase the dosage. I know what works for me and I don't think that after 5 years of taking Roxicodone that hydrocodone is going to do much for me. I wish it would, I hate how restricted my activities and even my life have become. Pain dictates my every waking hour and a lot of the hours I try to sleep. Anyone with any information, please pass it along and let me know. Thank you very much!

No he is not... he is not personable at all and doesn't listen to you as a patient. I have been going there since May 2017 for injections. The injections were helping me, but I became sick with whooping cough and was sick for two months and could not make my appointments so he dropped me. I had one procedure done for the left side of my neck before getting sick, and it worked. Now I'm being denied treatment and was dropped by him because I rescheduled my appointments due to... I'll say again whooping cough. Now I'm still suffering. At no fault of mine.... I would STRONGLY suggest another facility altogether. They do not care about the patient.
