My pain management doc got investigated and now hes closed his practice down. I was getting 30mg oxycodone 5 times a day and morphine 15mg 2 times a day. Does anybody know a doctor in huntsville alabama that will keep me on my meds, need answer ASAP!

If worse comes to worse, go to a methadone clinic. Every city has one. They will treat any opiate addiction not just H. It will give you time to find a good doc.

hi I am a doctor and I am aloud to give any pain kellers I want to to any people reagardless off the law.i give oxycodone to any one with a hang over and if they good a majour headack..if u in pain that's the last I give out tho.but dhc codine is fine for any one as I am a doctor been on drugs for pain my self for 15 years now I I take dhc codine and its healthy for u to brings out all that nasty flem

I went to Trinity Medical Center. Was truthful about wanting to taper off. I have real chronic pain. Was only on hydro 5 10/325 a day and wanted to cut down. Im from PCB FL and cant see my MD because of laws. Dr Faharha just referred me to Tennessee Valley and walked outta room. I will be withdrawing soon and wont see TVP until 2weeks. They told me my physcian should have prescribed enough to tide me ovee but he wont. What do i do???

Broke my t10 after motorcycle wreck where Steak out delivery driver hit me head on leavn me for dead in middle of the road. You SERIOUS LY need to think before u respond to anythn!!! Found or response EXTREMELY offensive

I'm talking bout the Tennessee valley pain clinic it's not worth crap. They gave me a block in my back didn't last 2 days, they gave me another one, I ended up in the hospital with a bad infection they tried to say I failed a drug panel after they didn't send it out for a few days so I won that. It was never ending with them but they had me on high dosage of medicine so nobody can say they don't prescribe it b cos the do. I've had over 30 surgeries n I don't have no withdrawals off any medicine n I've been on strong meds for a long time n can stop when I want. It's will power. If u have withdrawals, then ur addicted n need to come off the meds anyway.

If you are a rare case it is not even mid range--management should be by a high level specialized care physician who is research oriented.

Most doctors now will only give pain medicine to people who have cancer only because of the fact that so many people are drug seeking bouncing from one doctor office to others and demanding specific pain medicine. I used to live in North Carolina and they have a system that let's every pharmacy know that you go to a specific pain doctor and if you try and fill a prescription from a different doctor or hospital it would get denied by the pharmacy. Pennsylvania hasn't caught up to that just yet but soon it's gonna be in every state in the country because of people abusing the system so much.

My doc stopped writing my pain pills because of the regulations they have implemented. Therefore she doesnt write a script for me. I havr been going to ER's for injections and pain meds. I cant afford a pain clinic cause I have no insurance and the out of pocket cost is too high. Are there any pain docs that charge a minimal amt? Can anyone help me?

To Tired Of It: I don't get pain shots there and have been going for 5 years now. Dr. told me plainly that he offers the shots, etc. but wouldn't push them on me and he hasn't. Hope this helps..

Hi I am disabled I moved to decade alabama I plead for help I can't find a doctor, I have been on roxy 30's for 5 years and Lyrica please help I can't go on any longer I sit in my wheelchair and I cry and I have grown children if it weren't for them I rater not say what I think of doing, I will do anything to not hurt like this anymore I have went to emergency room and they give you shot, and tell me have I tried rehab, I have called and they said with all my physical problems there is no way it would help me
