Doctors Who Prescribe Pain Killers In Philadelphia (Page 54)

Hi,

My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards.

I had a doctor who prescribed oxycotin 80 and oxycodon 30 for my back pain and then he needs to retire because of bad health. Now no doctor will fill these scripts and I am left out in the cold. I've been taking them for years can anyone in South Philly help it could even be a doctor if you have the balls. PLEASE THEY ARE NOT RECREATIONAL BUT THEY COULD HELP ME GET BACK TO SOME KIND OF FUNCTIONAL LIFE.

Hey flash and jt my husband found a doctor he just dropped the files he has which he had to get a copy of all his prescriptionstuff from the pharmacy and then had to pick up whatever scans he had from the hospital he got them done at so the doctors office said they will call him within a week so waiting on that .. it's over in cherry hill ... once he gets in I will be sure to let you know what is going on .. I haven't heard anything from Dr ps office at all so guess that's just over an done with don't really know pisses me off to think about ....

Thats great..im happy for u guys..we been all over from bala cynwyd to jersey and called many in the city and suburbs of Philly..please lmk..its been hell since he closed..especiay with christmas around corner and having 3 kids the info would be a life saver..thanks again for reaching out..

No I never found a doc for pain meds yet I really need to find one I am in so much pain it is crazy I can hardley get out of bed everyday

Hi Amanda I would appreciate any info on the doctor in cherry hill little success here in Philadelphia and icam in major pain from an injury that happened when I was two and got worse in an accident please help

Please let me know if you have the doctor's information. I had 6 surgeries and I can't take the pain and my other doctor closed down.

I have sever fibromyalgia and nerve damage in my right hand. Currently my family dr gives me gabapentin, cymbalta and tramadol. The tramadol doesn't do anything!! I'm supposed to take 6 50 mg tablets max per day, I normally take twice that. I need a Dr close to me in Mt Airy who will give me something stronger. I'm new to the area and kinda afraid to go further in the city. Any suggestions?? Please help!!!

I go to Excel Medical Center on Shelton Ave, I see Dr Tran... he'll atleast give you tramadol not sure of anything else

Dr Tran did? If so, yeah he stopped my Vicodin then now won't give me anything because I went to another dr to see if they would give me something and all they did was give me the same thing.

Sorry 2 say this 2 you but, if u r posting on a website looking 4 pills then u most likely have an opiate problem. Roxi 30's? I am hard pressed 2 hear of anyone who doesn't have issues with them. You may not be emotionally addicted but, I'd be a betting woman & say you most def are physically addicted! You also r probably showing signs of this dependency & that's why your physician is booting u off. I have MS and lupus and I find that Motrin & Tylenol & more traditional, holistic remedies work the best 4 any kind of pain. All that opiates do is dull your mind so that you don't give a rats @$$ about the pain u r having. Pain mess should be reserved 4 cancer patients (I had cancer & that's how I got started), hospice/end of life, post surgical interventions/ACUTE accidents ONLY! I live in pain daily. It's total BS to need pain pills.

I just recently moved to Philadelphia...Had no clue of "dr shopping", afraid I may be at risk. Had an appt with the 1st Dr I seen last week, but went to 2 others only because I found out he wasn't really treating my fibromyalgia just giving me the meds they usually give for this condition. I changed my Dr from him to a real PCP @ Chestnut Hill, waiting in him to fill my Rx but it's been a week, left messages, requested refill online, nothing yet. Called this am they said he's in & will let him know it's for urgent refill for klonopin & tramadol. I don't even take heavy stuff!! I don't need morphine, Oxy, nothing line that...Sheesh, anybody know a Dr that look @ my records and give me those atleast? Serious pain & withdrawal of either can cause seizures...
