I have been in Pain management since 2004 in California and just Moved out there to muskogee Oklahoma... unfortunately there are NO doctors here willing to treat my pain i was on a regiment of 80mg Oxycontin 2X daily 10/325mg Norcos every 4 hours and 4mg IV dilaudid as needed for breakthrough pain... i am in search of a doctor out this way who is actualluy willing to perscribe these meds... thanks

I am looking for a pain management docter in okc, OK that accepts cash payments as I don't have medical insurance yet and I have MRI's and xrays and catscans on my neck. I have bulging and slipped discs in my neck from a bad wreck where I was tboned... I have went to family park medical for my wreck care in the beginning and ive already had injections in my neck and was terrified to get them next to my spine...I allowed them to do this as they said it could help however they also said some people it helps them and some it doesn't and I was one that it didn't help... I felt more sore after so they discontinued the shots...they had to give me something to relax me and my anxiety as I'm terrified of needles in general and always have been! My doctor was prescribing me lortabs 10mg and vistiril and another one I can't remember the name of... but with everything I was being prescribed I still was in severe pain and they also made me nauseous and sick to my stomach because there we're so many of them...and I asked my doctor about this and he said perhaps once you get a pc physician tell them all U experienced with us and perhaps they can prescribe U one medication that's stronger than what we can prescribe that will help better with the pain and U won't have to take so many of so you won't keep having an upset stomach.... and I told him I'd want something that was easier on my liver as well... My mother has a bad liver from all the meds she has to take....I don't want my liver to go bad as well...I need a pc... pain management doctor that won't try to make me take shots...I'm terrified of them! One that can prescribe something strong enough it will subside my pain better... that won't prescribe several different things that will in turn make me very nauseous! I also need this doctor to be cheaper as I'm paying cash until I can get insurance and I was told the visits cost an amount and whatever they prescribe will cost an amount also... if this physician has some sort of financial assistance too this would be greatly appreciated...I wake up in severe pain every day since that wreck and most of the time I can't get out of bed I hurt so much! And just taking a shower N getting dressed N doing normal things wears me out so much that I'm in more pain after that and have no energy at all.... Can U help suggest a doctor in okc, OK that will be cheaper on me who'll care about their patients better?

PAIN MANAGEMENT I'm in a bit of a unique situation and need advice, I have been séeing the same md for 20 yrs and he has been treating me for chronic pain for 13, I made the mistake of filling an rx after surgery now I'm cut off. Hes been prescribing me dilaudid for about last 10 yrs. Now I need to find a pain clinic and I'm clueless. Do yo have any advice or recommendations for me. I live near 50 Penn place. Any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks Paul

Hey I read ur response telling the person to email u & u cld tell them which Dr's would be best to get opioid meds from. I recently moved to Oklahoma & I'm having hell trying to find a Dr that will write the scripts I've been on for the past 6 years. So any suggestions wld greatly be appreciated. Thank u

Ive been on percocet. And Valium. I have degenerative. Disk arthritis. Muscle spasms. And have 5 plates n my neck. 2 shoulder. Surgery. And spinal. Stenoses. Had acrushed pelvic. Broken ribs. N punctured lungs. Broken. Back i need a pain dr that will write me. The same. It done very. Well

If you need xanax, go to dr. kane. She is in okc on classen street. She's a psychiatrist. She does not take soonercare anymore, so she needs new patients. If u have cash, it's $90 per visit. Take a bottle or receipt from your old dr and she'll give u xanax. She will make u take an SSRI with the xanax, but u don't have to get the anti-depressant filled..

When you call Dr's office ask what kind of pain treatment they do. Plus what all you need to turn in. Please stay away from Dr. Weaver he has billboards all around Muskogee. He cuts meds way down then holds them over your head till you agree to have electronic stimulaters inside you. My body rejected had to threaten to take them out.
