I need a doctor in the pgh area. I have had 11 back surgeries, chronic pain and anxiety. My pcp gave me a month to find one... Please help.

Anyone know a doctor in the Huntingdon, PA area that will prescribe oxycodone acetaminophen 7.5-325. Two of my doctor refuse to prescribe it any longer. Been on it for 12 years, been to so many doctors to try and fix my back but none help just sent me to another doctor who tells me they can't do anything and sends me to yet another doctor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have not been to any myself as of yet. I have heard decent things about Dr Kenneth Zahl in East Stroudsburg Pa n dr Marie Adajar in Mountaintop/Wilkes Barre. Also Dr Kurt Moran in Wikes Barre. Hope this helps. Let me know.

Would you be able to help me? I live in the NEPA area as you described. My life is consumed by pain. It's so physically and mentally/emotionally draining and frustrating. I'm looking to start from scratch and would be so thankful for any suggestions. Thank you!

Christina whether your in Ohio or your in Philly all patients really need is a MRI showing pain and a few papers from a hospital youve maybe been to twice. That's it. If u were discharged you will have to tell your doctor very little your new doctor as they do not take patients that were disharged. I learned that the hard way.....u are not a patient to these doctors u are a FILE they follow what the last doctor did.. Most of them are cowards...here's how I know this a doctor closed the door and said I cannot treat u due to your files then he gave me the name of a pill mill doctor and said go there and say nothing just bring your one or two pieces of paper from a hospital bout your pain and your mri you'll get your meds.

Can you please send me a list of any pm doctors around Warren Ohio that will help me out I was shut off and red flagged because I was in the process of moving and couldn't find a doctor and once I did couldn't get a pharmacy to fill them so they said to pound the pavement to get it filled and since I still had a family doctor in canfield I drove back and went there and broke my contract and now no one will treat me even though my medical records prove otherwise please help me

Can anyone recommend a pm dr who is willing to take a person with serious injuries and a record of it all who has been red flagged because of breaking the contract by getting a prescription filled from the hospital after a serious car accident?? My dr was in florida and I also need a family doctor

Thanks so much Brandon. I have the name n I go but haven't made an appt yet. The family dr is still prescribing as of now but I don't know for how long so I am keeping the info on the pain management dr. There is also a pm in the sMe office as my dr. Don't know much about him or if he prescribes etch but name is Kenneth Zahl in E Stroudsburg. If anyone knows anything about him please post. Thanks

Nancy did you get on with who I recommended and if so did it go well? She actually doesn't take my insurance anymore as I'm stuck once again bouncing from Doctor to doctor getting 1 month supplies but they just want to pass me along to someone else. Any others you know of in the WB/Scranton area that are sympathetic and aren't scared to prescribe needed medications?!?

The doctor I gave you I wish I could go back, oh how my life would be so much easier!

Here is the sad reality. ...the current pain management clinics torture their patients with multi thousand dollar urine tests.. high priced shots and just a plain lousey attitude. Those that prescribe release patients with no regard concerning withdrawal. The whole system is broken -from the worst pharmacy scum personnel to the clueless regulators ..the only people that actually treat the seriously injured semi decent are the scourge of society - your local heroin dealer. HOW'S that for pathetic??

Neck surgery from car accident along with other thing. I moved to far from my previous doctor who had me on 30mg oxycodone. Need a doctor in pa who will prescribe me the same thing. I am now living in Allentown if anyone can help with a referral.

I'd be interested in knowing who these doctors are; I'm not that far from scranton area, approximately 45 mins, and i have family living there. How do you go about sharing this kind of information? it seems to me that names, emails, and things of that nature are censored on this site.

I have a few doctors names that I heard are good n will prescribe but they are in NE Pennsylvania in the Poconos n Wilkes Barre / Scranton area.

Hello, I was curious as to the doctors name in watsontown, i am near there and am a back pain patient with no luck in finding appropriate meds. car accident 2.5 years ago and back surgery, several injections, many different medications.. any help would be great. Thank you.

Have not seen you around in a while. Has anyone used ProPublica? How do you type in the ? for the particular med. you are looking for like I am looking for a good Dr who prescribes Dilaudid in Charlotte, NC. Any help is appreciated. I am going thru withdrawal & it is hell. It is so hard to find a decent doctor. Dilaudid has worked best for me & I am not drug seeking! Tramadol is garbage & Vicodin is mild for someone who has been in chronic pain for 8 years. Thank you.
