Doctor In Maryville Or Knoxville Tn That Prescribes Klonopin Or Xanax

Can anyone recommend a doctor in East Tennessee who prescribes Klonopin?

Hello, Susan! How are you?

Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year by the DEA, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, so in this case you'll most likely need to see a psychiatrist, a general practitioner won't be able to prescribe them for you.

The FDA lists these medications as being benzodiazepines that are most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. They carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that might be the easiest way to find the help you need.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

Have you found a doctor yet? My Primary care doctor writes me for my klonopin. As long as you have up to date records showing you need the med and why...etc

So if you need the name of the family doctor I see let me know. They won't write it if you don't have all your ducks in a row so to speak.

Hey I just moved to Knoxville and need a Dr. That will write my valium I've been on for 19years due to ptsd,anxiety, fibromyalgia,bipolar, and muscle spasms. I've also read that klonipin works like valium so either 1 should be fine.. I would greatly appreciate it if u would plz point me in the direction of u're Dr. THANX, Monica

I’m going through a nasty divorce and I’ve been prescribed Xanax before, about 10 years ago. I know it would probably help with how I’ve been feeling. I’m depressed, unmotivated and I have zero confidence. It’s awful. Can anyone recommend a doctor who prescribes Xanax in Maryville, Tennessee?

I’m confused. Is it possible to be “grandfathered” in? I get my benzo from my PCP. It was initially prescribed by my PCP and I get refills every month. May you please clarify?

Look into Prazosin for night terrors. It’s not a benzo but it helps for PTSD. Do some research on it though as well as it lowers blood pressure.
