I've been taking ramipril and amlodipine for several years with no problems but last week my Dr prescribed indapamide. I feel sick, headache, lightheaded, dry mouth and generally awful. I've read that its side effects are "minor and transient" but I don't know if I can wait until they go away. Any advice from anyone please? ## Did you doctor mention why they were changing your medications? The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. If your doctor had you make a sudden switch, then you are likely also experiencing some withdrawal effects, along with the new side effects. Are you on any other medications? Hello! I started HCTZ around 02/98, didn't notice any problems until about 4-5 years ago when I could not longer stand at my stove for even 5 minutes to cook a meal, felt like my calves were going to burst because they were so tight. I have always drank plenty of water since my early 20's (I'm now 53), was never informed my sodium and potassium were to be monitored closely while on this drug, and never warned about staying out of the sun for any length of time. After being denied to stop taking this drug by my physician, I stopped it in 08/16 and couldn't believe what pain I was actually in while on that dreadful medication. As it stands, the past 4 years proved NOT to be helpful with BP as it was always stroke level for years (160-180 over 105-118 consistently) and as a...

small off yellow oval pill. APO on 1 side and the numbers 3-7.5-325 on the other. ## Based on your description I located a similar pill, if not the pill you are looking for. The pill is Triamterene (37.5 mg) + Hydrochlorothiazide (25 mg). It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and edema (water retention). NOTE: This particular pill I located is a light green color. Maybe can be mistaken for off-yellow. Also the imprint APO is on one side and the numbers 37.5 | 25 are on the other side. You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below... If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you. ## Apo one side and 40 on the other yellow oval in shape. What is it? Was told it was an oxy 40.

I have celiac and started taking spironolactone by amneal pharma, but i am not feeling well on it. Can you tell me if it is gluten free? ## Spironolactone by Amneal (50mg) totally "glutened" me. Amneal told me that it does not contain gluten - but I'm guessing there is some cross contamination or an ingredient from another supplier that has hidden gluten. I went off it and felt better. I tried it again this last week and had the same bad effects identical to when I eat gluten...I am going to ask my Dr. to prescribe another manufacturer and see if I have better luck. ## What brand /manufacturer of spirinolaxtone 100mg tablets is completely gluten free? ## From what I could gather, the inactive ingredients tend to vary from tablet to tablet (and are always subject to change), ...

Will Puresis (Furosemide) help pass kidney stones? ## Not really, it is a diuretic that is used to help remove fluid from the body, according to the U.S. FDA. Since you already feel a frequent urge to urinate, when you have a kidney stone, it could just make you feel more miserable than you already are. The best thing to do is to take in plenty of fluids, such as water, or juices, and see your doctor it the stone doesn't pass soon. Are you on any medications?

My mother aged 87 years has started taking Nexito Plus for the past 3 days. She used to have panic / anxiety attacks in the night, and hence was prescribed Nexito plus instead of Revotril (0.25 mg). She did not sleep during the past two nights, and today has been sleeping through the day. Towards evening, she became more drowsy and is sleeping soundly with very little reaction. Her pulse rate is varying between 52 - 57. Oxygen saturation is 95-99. She is also on Lasix (40mg) - 1/2 tablet twice a day. Should we let her sleep ? Is it one of the effects of using Nexito plus ? Should we do something else ? ## Yes, drowsiness can be a side effect of this medication, according to the U.S. FDA, she may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Why would I have severe breathlessness after stopping natrilex the doctor has tried a number of times even my cardiologist has taken me off it and the same thing happened after many scans nothing showed the local gp started it again 4-5 days later breathing returned to normal but now it's the probable cause of gout in knee so would like to stop natrilex ## Hello, Winkey! How are you? Did you stop it abruptly, or did you taper off of it? If you stopped it abruptly, the breathing issue may be due to some withdrawal effects. While this medication isn't habit forming, your body does get used to anything you take regularly for a long period of time, according to the NIH, so some withdrawal or rebound effects may occur. Are you on any other medications? And yes, it has been known to c...

What side effects does Stat Royal Flush have? I took it and started to feel jittery and nauseous. ## Hello, Dre! How are you? Okay first, it needs to be stated that there is no validity to the claims of detoxifying your body. Your body handles things itself and there is nothing you can do to further clean it out, or etc. That said, this product is really nothing more than a multivitamin, diuretic and laxative. Thus, it may cause nausea, increased urination, and diarrhea, according to the FDA. Is there anything else I can help with? ## How long is your system clean from narcotics after you take Stat Royal Flush?
