That is a good idea about researching the medicines. They are each from different pharmacies. I am trying them both and see which one I feel gives me the best results. It is hard to believe that two medicines that are to be the same actually react differently.
I read earlier about not eating before I take the Diltiazem. I will try that and see if that inproves the side effects.

Check the two prescriptions for different manufacturers - the primary ingredient should be the same but there may be different fillers. You can discuss that with your pharmacist.

I have taken the Diltizem 240 ER from CVS. For blood pressure. It seems to lose its strength in 10 hours. It makes me jittery and I can’t sleep if taken before bedtime.
I also have the Diltizem 240 xr from Wal-Mart. It is a bigger pill. Its keeps its strength a lot longer like up to 14 hours and still showing benefits near the end of its cycle. I notice louder ringing noise in ears and an earache from 4hours after I taken the pill to about 11 hours later. I sleep well with it but sometimes I feel drugged through the day.

Ask your pharmacist or doctor but should not have reaction if not taken within 2-3 hrs - Vitamin C is water soluble and should clear your body.

so glad to hear others are having problems with Teva, I am on Diltiazem120er no problems with Sun Phara, could not get it on my refill, they gave me Teva, am getting light palpatations, having hard time with Keystone 65 because I just got 90 day refill

I have Vioxx alerts , any relative story, sent to my email address. This one was 1 of the latest. Google vioxx and you have every bit of info out there relative to vioxx. I get at least 2-3 news items a day concerning this poison. They are still paying large claims due to vioxx.

The latest on vioxx is that it could have caused 500,000 deaths over the 5 year period it was on the market. When you look at death statistics it was found that total deaths increased by 100,000 per year when vioxx was put on the market. Once vioxx was pulled from the market the total death toll dropped by 100,000 a year. Millions of people took vioxx during those 5 years. I am happy not everyone had a heart attack , stroke or died. You are one of the lucky ones.
