I am on phen 30mg and not having much luck. Why can't I find any information on this? My Dr. wants me to take it for weight loss but I found that it isn't a prescription and it has to be made at a special pharmacy. I know phen-phen was a bad deal, is this different? ## It sounds like the regimen which you have been recommended is a dose of Phentermine coupled with Chromium Picolinate. The Chromium is an over the counter nutritional supplement which is supposed to help reduce cravings for fat & carbs - although I do not believe that extensive clinical trials have been conducted to prove its efficacy. Magnesium....would you recommend to take it everyday and what will give the best results? ## I'm not a doctor, so I can't recommend what you should or shouldn't take. However, the relevant question is what have your levels been at? Have you been deficient in magnesium? Most people get an ample amount in their diets and really don't need to add more. Was tested for THC 11/3/12 and positive, but have definitely not used since 9/4/12. Am overweight. Why would test be positive? What are the counter reactions of Phentermine in the morning and a Watson 932 (Acetaminophen 325 mg and Oxycodone 10 mg) at bed time? ## There is really no way a doctor or anyone else for that matter can know ahead of time how any medication can affect anyone. They can only assume that it will be effective based on medical records, current health, age, what the condition is, whether or not any other medications are being taken at the same time, etc. Any of these factors as well as others can affect how you respond to this drug. i have a capsule that is tan and orange with chinese writing on it. the only letters in english say kd. it is suppose to be a weight loss pill. Has anyone taken this capsule for weight loss? It's distributed by Calvin Scott and Co. What did it do? Any side effects? ## I haven't used this product, nor can I find any actual information on it's ingredients. However, what I have found are quite a few medical research articles that have proven that they do not actually block the digestion of starches in any way and they have tested many different products, including this one. The best and safest way to lose weight is by following a proper diet regimen and getting lots of exercise. How much are you trying to lose?

I'm a 24 yo male. I am 5'9'' and weigh 340lbs. I also have high BP and take cozaar for it. I use to play football in high school. When I started my freshman year I weighed 220lbs so basically I have never really been small. and my senior year I played at 260-270lbs (some of the added weight was muscle), but by no means was it all. I have tried many different diets and exercise programs and usually can lose 30-40 lbs but that is it then I just stop losing the weight. I just seem to never be able to get past that mark. I really am looking for something to jump start me and get me past this point that has been my nemesis in the past and i think that adipex may be the answer. I have taken phentermine 37.5mg 3 different times over the past 9 years. It has always given me more energy and completely squashed my appetite. 10 days ago I started on the 37.5 tabs again. Since then I have been horribly sick to my stomach (vomiting more than once) and still feel hungry. I am taking them on an empty stomach as prescribed. I know the side effects, but this isn't listed as one. Has anyone else had this particular problem with phentermine and nausea? ## Actually, the possible side effects listings generally include the broad statement of 'gastro-intestinal' distrubances, which you can see listed about Phentermine here. Is one allowed to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle if they are prescribed Adipex? Or is it a violation of the Federal Commercial Motor Carrier Regulations? Will Adipex come up on a random lab analysis? ## I don't know the commercial motor vehicle laws. The best advice I can give there is to contact your state DOT and check the details with them, they should know even in regards to federal laws. As to the Adipex, it contains the active ingredient Phentermine and, while it isn't actually checked for on routine lab work, it has been known to appear in test results for Amphetamines. ## Thank you for your post. I heard people use the b12 injection to lose weight is it true. ## Nutritional supplements will not actually do anything to aid in weight loss, per se. What I mean is, you can't take a B complex vitamin or just a vitamin B12 supplement and think that it will help you lose weight. What it may do, however, is to help improve the functioning of someone's body, if they weren't getting enough of it in their diet and the could result in some weight changes, but it would be only slight, not anything significant.
