Other side effects of Contrave, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and nervousness. Are you on any other medications, or is this the only one you take?
Iam 63kg and my height is 5.4. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16 and now I'm 19. My doc prescribed me glycomet 500. How long should I take it for? I've only taken it for a week now and I don't see any result of weight loss.. How long do you think I need to take this for? Please help.
UpdatedHas anyone had any trouble with facial tics while on Contrave? I'm on my 6th week of Contrave taking 4 pills a day and 2 days ago I noticed that I had facial tics. It seems to get worse when I'm stressed. Will they go away? Should I stop the medication? I'm a dispatcher for a police department and the tics are making my job impossible! ## That can be a possible side effect of this medication, according to the most recent FDA information, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, nervousness, insomnia and anorexia. If it is that severe, though, you should consult your doctor as this might not be the right medication for you to take. Is there anything else I can help with?

Started Belviq 3 days ago. Only 1 per day at night since I've tried it before & could not handle the symptoms taking 2 a day morning & afternoon. Again this time I experienced bad headache & the main thing I don't tolerate is the nausea. How long before this goes away? Or does it continue? Thanks. ## Side effects are usually transient and go away in time, as your body gets used to a medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks. You may also experience dizziness, headache, dry mouth and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?
Contrave and ibuprofen 800 can I take these meds together ## Hello, Sue! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between the two, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I am currently on my first week of Qsymia. I need someone's honest opinion and I will ask my doctor too once I see her again. I am not a big drinker at all but when I go on vacation I do get a couple of drinks here and then or maybe once a day. It's my vacation and I want to enjoy it. Am I going to die if I have a drink or 2 or would you recommend stopping the medication for the week and half I am on vacation? ## Hi Steph, According to umm.edu's drug interaction tool, drinking alcohol while taking Qysmia is not recommended as it may increase or decrease blood levels of topiramate (one of the active ingredients in Qysmia) potentially resulting in more side effects and/or a less effective dose. They also goes on to note that the combination of alcohol and topiramate may cause ...
Can I safely use Phentermine while I take hydrocodine 10-325, Celebrex 200, Avapro 150. All 1x pd? I'm very overweight. This helped me lose weight in the past and eliminates BP meds + more. My BP is good while on Avapro. I took Phentermine 1/2 tab with Avapro before with no problems. Lost 75 lbs. BP became normal. URGENT! ## Hello, Coopie! How are you? Actually, if you have a high blood pressure, Phentermine is generally contraindicated, as reported by the FDA, due to the fact that it is a stimulant, which can cause elevated heart rate and blood pressure. Have you considered trying a different weight loss option? There are other, newer medications available that you may be able to safely take. ## Hi I'm on avapro medicine for blood pressure and I'm wondering if I can still t...
What is the most effective way to take dinintel. Should I take it early morning approx half hour before eating and half hour before lunch or can I take it at any time? In addition, is it better to take one a day so that it does not become addtive? ## I take it the first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It last me through out the day. Everyone body's are different, my sister takes 4 per day
Hi, I've used dinintel during my weight loss program. I dieted and exercised but without dinintel to help me fight the hunger cravings, believe me I have not been successful. However I am now very fat again after giving birth to my daughter and under going a major surgery. Now I'm ready to take up the challenge of weight loss again, but only to realize dinintel has been taken off the market here. I don't know if this is being done worldwide or only here in a Jamaica?
Updated in DinintelMy Korean doctor gave me a prescription for weight loss tablets. One is small, white and oval in shape with the letter C (score) A. Any ideas? The other is a regular capsule size, light and dark green. Imprinted on one side are the letters CHO-A (I'm assuming it's from Choa pharmaceuticals) then BEA on the other end. No numbers. Nothing further.
UpdatedBeen on 3 weeks only lost 4lbs but feel like I am losing my mind. Racing heart, anxious, constipated, awful taste in my mouth and horrible insomnia. I want to stick it out but I am scared this will cause long term side effects or really mess me up. My endo only wants me to take it for 3 months but don't know If I should stick it out. Will these side effects go away? Any thoughts? Help? Can this med cause u to have a heart attack? ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? Actually, under the FDA warnings, you should see your doctor immediately, if you experience the pounding or racing heart beats as it may not be a safe medication for you to take. The constipation, insomnia, taste changes and dizziness can be normal side effects. Are you on any other medications?
I found out I was 16 weeks pregnant on xenical. Could that have harmed the baby? ## Hello, Cathy! How are you? Congratulations! It is recommended that it should not be taken during pregnancy, by the U.S. FDA, to because of evidence of harm, but due to the fact that weight loss offers no benefit to a pregnancy woman and could harm the baby. It would be best to inform your doctor that you were taking it, to be safe, but the risk of harm this early on is very low. Is there anything else I can help with?
I heard about this product on the radio for a free trial, so before I called I decided to look into it a little more. I have found some complaints about them charging almost $80 to a lot of people after thet got the free trial they canceled the "membership" yoyu are automaticly added to is this normal? Can you get your money back if this happens? And is it safe to give them all my info? ## Auto-enrollment and automatic billing are tactics used by many companies, purely as a way to make money off of consumers. Statistics prove that most people won't make the effort to cancel, before being billed and a fairly large percentage that wanted to cancel will not return the auto-shipped product and pursue a refund. As consumers, most of us are just lazy. Additionally, this product ha...

UpdatedI have done very well on the medication. I have had to increase the dosage to the full amount as had been advised by the manufacturer and the FDA and after almost a full year it seems to have stopped working, which happens with most medications like this (and pain meds too). My doctor has suggested weekly "drug" holidays (i.e. I don't take it on the weekends) to stimulate it's efficacy when I resume the next weekday. Also, on those weekdays when I simply forget to take it at the early time of day, I just don't take it at all. However, as I reach the full year period in June, I am looking at loosing the monthly $75 discount. So I wrote the manuf. Vivus and asked if they would extend the discount so that I can safely taper down to get off the medication as is the recom...
I have a half yellow half white capsule that's supposed to be 45 mg of phentermine but has no markings on it.. Is this phentermine and is there a such thing as 45 mg ## Hello, Amber! How are you? No and no! In the U.S. all prescription tablets are required to have unique markings to enable their identification in case of emergency and the highest dose available is 37.5mgs. If it has no markings, it is most likely some type of over the counter product. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, anorexia and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
After 3 days of taking belviq with no change in appetite suddenly on the fourth day it kicked in no desire to nineat and was very excited that this started working for me. That lasted for about 3 days and I lost 4 pounds and then it completely stopped working. Has this happened to anyone I am very disappointed to have paid and gone through the hassle of getting the medication for it to only work for a few days I am still taking it hoping it would kick back in. Please help. ## Hello, Nunu! How are you? You are not the only person to report such, usually, after a plateau phase, it does start to work, again, though. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, anorexia and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi thanks for the re...
I read that the makers of Qsymia have an exclusive deal with SAMs Club to provide it at a lower cost for SAMs Plus members. It is supposed to be lower than the discount currently offered through the company. I was wondering did anyone know the cost? ## Hi Masey, I did some investigating on this and found that the wholesale price which pharmacies are paying for Qsymia is around $120-$135 depending on the dosage. With the use of an RX Savings Card, people reportedly pay anywhere from $194-$264. As far as Sam's Club is concerned, I would encourage you to contact them directly in order to receive an accurate answer regarding the cost of Qsymia. However, I would probably anticipate the price range to be somewhere in the ballpark of what it might cost with the use of a savings card. If yo...
