I have been on it since February and I lost 37 lbs. in 2 months. Since then I haven't lost anything. Haven't gained anything either. Question is should I stay on it or stop taking it? Just wondering what others have done. ## Hello, John! How are you? Most people that take this medication reach a plateau phase, but in most cases, it does eventually start working, again. Anybody here know of a Spokane WA doctor who will take your insurance and bill insurance for you to see them for eating disorders and to prescribe phentermine?? Not these doctors saying they want to help with your goal to lose weight then charge you $180 for a rx refill.....This is just wrong and I thinks the money greedy doctors need to have their license pulled...

I have a prescription for phentermine 37.5 mg only took for three days and had to take a urine test due to false allegations in a cps case. I have been taking Glycomet 1gm since the last two years twice daily. 1 after breakfast and 2nd after dinner. I have lost my 6 kg weight in the last two years in which 3 kg has been in the last 6 months only and my face, waist & shoulders shrunk and I'm starting to look very weak. Since the last few days, I have started feeling nervousness also. Is it a side effect of Glycomet 1 gm? My suger level of fasting always maintained 90-100 whereas PP sometimes high, up to 215-235. Otherwise normally it comes in at around 165-180. So you're going to have to see a doctor about this and cross your fingers that he/she is willing to write for it... However I don't necessarily think you'd have a hard time at all finding the right doctor if there's a legitimate or obvious need. I've been taking contrave for about four months, and haven't had any side effects after the first three weeks except possibly for one: it seems like I have a men's tail cycle every ten days or so. My hormones are normal, thyroid is fine, and OBGYN sees nothing that would cause it. I saw irregular menstration listed as a possibility, but it's WAY down on the list. Has anyone else experienced this on Cintrave? Hello I just started taking Belviq, and so for I haven't had any feelings of fullness or any side affects. Ive taken Addipex in the past and had an immediate feeling of fullness. How long does belviq remain in your system once you quit taking it? ## Hello, Duckman! How are you? Approximately 55 to 66 hours, so it shouldn't take more than a few days. However, it may take longer for any side effects that one has experienced to go away. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and anorexia. I have been taking contrive for 2 months. I haven't lost any weight on it as I cannot exercise because I need knee replacement surgery. How long before the surgery do I need to discontinue contrave? Even though I am not losing weight, I am feeling better....should I ask my doctor to put me on wellbutrin instead? ## @T, Usually surgeons will tell their patients if and when they need to stop taking a specific medication prior to an operation. My understanding is that this should be standard practice on the surgeons part, to at least ask if you if you are on any medications when you fill out forms on your initial visit. Started Contrave 7 days ago. On the very first morning (2nd dose) I was so sleepy. Like exhausted-sleepy from shopping for 2 hours. The intense exhaustion seems to wearing off a bit, but there is something else. The dizziness is pretty bad, I'm disoriented, walk like I'm slightly drunk, have trouble focusing on anything.
