I need to know what diclofenaco contains and what side effects would cause when taking the pill. For what types of pain is this medicine prescribed.
Diclofenac is what it contains, it is commonly sold under the brand name Voltaren.
It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, used to treat many different types of pain conditions, such as arthritis.
Does anyone have experience using this medication?
I had unrelenting pevic pain last year. No doctor in the USA could figure it out... I saw three. They suspected it was pelvic congestion syndrome.. yet offered no cure or pain relief. Ibuprofen was a joke. I refused narcotics.
I went to Mexico and saw a gynecologist. He went about ruling out more serious things like cancer and anyuresm, etc. He could not find a firm diagnosis either. He treated me with Dolo-Neurobion and Daflon.
I was pain free in just a couple of days. The Daflon is micronized bioflavinoids. This doctor says they give it to all the vascular patients in Mexico. It stregthens the vascular walls and helps to reduce inflammation also.
I was also given injections of B12, 10mg per injection!
One a week. I stopped after 2 doses because the pain was gone.
Six months later I get twinges of pain at the same site and with the same meds its soon gone. I likely have a pelvic varicose vein, and the gynecologist thinks it may be pressing on a nerve causing unusually bad pain. The cure is to reduce the swelling and stregthen the vascular walls.
My opinion of medical care in Mexico? So far, absolutley excellent.
Now I know that a smart US doctor could have recommended voltarin and vitamins... but the thing is here in the USA B12 injections are generally given at 1mg dose once a month. The Mexican gynecologist laughed when I told him that!
I was given this in Majorca last friday, for gout in my foot, 15 mins later i was scratching my body like crazy and my tounge began to swell, i went back to the medical centre and ended up having five injections to counteract the shaking and unable to breath and scratching problems. I had an alergic reaction to this drug. very frightening.
I rarely use medication After suffering for 3 weeks with a very painful pinched sciatic nerve,( even though I took the full dose of ibuprofen with little result) I bought Diclofenaco over the counter in Spain. I used 2 tablets a day for 5 days and now I have zero pain and I'm not limping any more .My doctor in the U.S.had prescribed the ibuprofen. Here, in Spain, Diclofenaco is used for back pain and in my case was miraculous.
Do you think this medication is safe to take if you have a small fibroid in your uterus? Doctors here in the U.S. Only give me birth control to regulate my cycle. But get really uncomfortable pain or cramps?
Re: Arrow (# 3)
Drs in the US could mot figure out what was wrong with me either, multiple specialist , tests, all they could say was that something was definitely wrong, they just didn't know what. Went to Mexico and was diagnosed with a gluten allergy within half an hour. It was destroying my immune system & white blood cells. The drs here only check for celiac with a blood test , an allergy or sensitivity will not come up on their test. Seriously they sent me to lung specialists, asthma & allergy , even a cancer dr at one point. They are not all meaning bad , they are trained in their jesuit colleges who at the top are in bed with the pharmaceutical companies just like politics. All about money even if you do get one who really cares , its the programming (oops I mean education) they received . God forbid we go back to common sense and going as simple and as natural as possible, that would just clear up too many issues, gotta keep all the specialists, insurance companies, & pharmacies rollin in the dough. Hopefully Mexico stays away from the twisted western medicine and realizes they cure more than the western ways
Re: Verwon (# 2)
Yes, I was on it for years for back spasms and sciatica. You apparently are not supposed to be on it that long, but yes it was a great pain reliever for that. I had none of the side effects
Re: Vlaminck (# 5)
How long did you take the meds
