Diabetic Patient Taking 1 Tablet Gulvas Met 50 850mg After Dinner

I am 44 years old and have Diabetes. I was prescribed Gulvas Met 50/850mg to take 1 tablet after dinner. Is this okay to take?

Patient of diabetic and hypertension-using galvus met 50/850 twice in day and exforgce 5/160 one every day for last 5 years. My age is 60. How long i continue above medicine?

I am 66 years and suffering from diabetes since 26 years and using oral medicine gulvus met50/500 since two years.recenylly I have tested gfr and result is 53 and after some days I tested crr which is 63.after using gulvas bloodsuger was controlled nicely.mu weight is 28.5kg.please advse me whether I can continue the medicine in such kidney position or only gulvas 50 two times from now instead og gulvas met 50/500. it is harmul for kidney. my doctor advised me to discontinue the medicine.what can I do now. your advice will be highly appreciated.
