Which one is better for managing blood sugar levels, Galvus Met or Melmet? In addition to these medications, how effective is Jardiance in controlling sugar levels & does it have any side effect on ladies using this medicine? ## Galvus Met contains the active ingredients Vidagliptin, and Metformin, Melmet contains the active ingredient Metformin, and Jardiance contains Empagliflozin, so though they all treat the same condition, Diabetes, they are different. The best one to use depends on what your doctor recommends, and what works best for you. I had no periods for the last 2 months so my doctor prescribed gynovit syrup. What is the use of it? Can it be taken along with metformin tablets also? ## From what I could gather, Grovit syrup is simply a multivitamin supplement for use in treating vitamin deficiency states as well as increased vitamin demands for pregnancy, lactation, growing children, and even severe infections. The Active ingredients in Grovit syrup are: Vitamin A (palmitate) + Vitamin B complex + Vitamin C + Vitamin D + Vitamin E Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Metformin and Vitamins. Im a new user. What happens if the shot isn't placed in fat? I have lots of belly fat so I don't see how I could miss a fat spot. Is the stomach muscles below or above the fat? Using the short needle I feel normal. ## Have you checked your blood sugar at the times you feel sleepy, and don't want to eat? I have been taking this medication for two years. I'm a vegetarian and the 500mg is too strong. It's makes me dizzy. Therfore, I cut it up in four pieces. I asked my doctor to lower the mg but he refuses. My blood sugar reading is excellent. Should I continue to take this medication? ## Dizziness can be a normal side effect of Glyburide with Metformin, along with nausea, headache, and hypoglycemia. You should continue to take it, until your doctor says otherwise, because it could be the only thing keeping your sugar levels at excellent readings. If you aren't sure, however, you are always free to see another doctor for a second opinion. Do you make sure to take it, when eating?
