Byetta is giving me leg pain. Does Novolog have muscle and pain side effects? I want to try Novolog pen. ## Byetta should not cause leg pain, either as a common or serious side effect. Have you consulted your doctor? What levels have your blood sugar tests been showing? If your sugar is out of control, it could cause those types of symptoms.

I recently went & had a EMG & EEG. My Dr. said I had some nerve damage in my legs? My legs jump & twitch on their own? My Dr. said this matanx is a vitamin? Any feedback would be appreciated. ## Metanx contains the active ingredients: L-methylfolate (Metafolin): 2.8 mg Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate: 25 mg Methylcobalamin: 2 mg These B-Vitamins are often given to try to help treat or prevent nerve damage, however, the only way they will help is if that damage was caused by a deficiency in these nutrients. If it was due to an injury, then they will probably not do much. Read more: Are there any comments or questions?

Dr. prescribed the Melmet 1000 SB TEBLET one pill at morning before breakfast is it good for healt or harm to health ## Melmet contains the active ingredient Metformin, this is an oral antidiabetic drug that is used to help lower and control blood sugar levels. Free over the counter drugs for the treatment of Diabetic retinopathy ## Well, first, these are not drugs, they are supplements, which means they are claimed, but not proven to actually help with anything. As to the Nepretin, other than to say it is all natural, the company doesn't even list what's in it. The information available on their site just says antioxidants. Blueberry Extract tablets would fall under the same category, they have antioxidant properties. If you are diabetic and taking prescription medications, then it is very important that you check with your doctor, before taking any of these. Are there any comments or questions?

I have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes since the past month and a half. I am hypothyroid as well since 1994. I had managed to keep my weight under control but I have gained 6 kilos of weight. I was wondering what this weight gain is due to.I am very worried about this Please advise ## Either of these conditions can cause some weight gain, as well as the medications for Thyroid problems. Since I don't know the specifics of what medications you are taking and your medical history, these are only guesses, but they may explain it. It is also normal to gain weight, sometimes, as we age. Have you tried asking your doctor?
