Three months ago in April of 2005 I have been noticing some muscle pain and fatigue has anyone notice this from this drug? I also use Gemfibrozil in conjunction with Glyburide. ## Yes, Glyburide is used to help lower, and control blood sugar levels. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia. It could cause such symptoms, if your blood sugar is dropping too low. How often do you check your level? I started Janumet since then I have been having vaginal soreness not burning sore like from being very dry ## I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. I couldn't find anything listed about Janumet causing this type of side effect, but there's no way to know how any medication is going to affect anyone that tries it, since everyone is different. It could also be due to a hormonal imbalance, which can happen in women at any age. Have you consulted your doctor? ## Wondering if the side effects of Janumet (slow release) are to blame for patches of alopecia on the hairline? Also diarrhea every day after taking the tablet at breakfast? Thank you.

Doctor put me on Metformin, two days after I started experiencing severe stomach pain and tinnitus in one ear. Went to ER, told it was side effects of this drug. I stopped taking Metformin. The stomach pain stopped but I still after 7 days have the tinnitus in my ear. I have read several forums that talk about ringing in the ears while on this medication. I started taking B12 to see if that would help but nothing so far. Has anyone experienced hearing loss after or while taking Metformin? My doctor never told me of this side effect. I think it should be shown as a definite side effect of this drug. ## Hello, Bill! How are you? It is a gastro-intestinal medication, mainly used to treat ulcers, but also some gases of GERD. Common listed side effects include: nausea, headache and constipation, but I have no idea if these would be the same for dogs.
