I am having the reverse actions from them switching it to a generic, it doesn't work at all I feel like and pharmacy said I have no choice?

I honestly do not know how anyone can that these types of drugs for any length of time and like what they do to ones physiology.
I am one with sever anxiety , dyislexic / ADHD
THESE MEDS UN NERVE MY PHYCI
now I take Lorazapam when anxiety attacks me
And it works for me. Just the lowest dose one tablet helps once or twice a week

Do not know how anyone can take these typesa drugs
I'm ADHD got a phychiatrist for the first time. He tryed 5 different of these Meds on me and honestly. I'd rather deal with the me I am than takes these horrendous anphedamines. I need something to calme me not hype me

Yet my Doc refuses to give me more than a few of these types of drugs
I do not get it
Lorazapam is much genteler for me with my anxiety
Wish I woulda stayed with my reg doc who would give me what I needed

I have the same issue with sleep, i am prescribed two 30mg tablets Instant release generic pink adderall daily. I have ADHD. by bed i cannot sleep, i was prrscribed 50mg of seriquil an it knocks me right out. But its a bit hard at first to adjust waking up because feeling groggy.

But adjusting to . Small dose is few days and it helps tremendously. Ill tell ya, a strong med like adderall tho melatonin will not help, its to light an over the counter. My advice. Get . Sleep aid. Atarax is also a seditive,at small doses,very effective.

They will hold three refills from your doctor if when they writ the scrip they date each of them 30 days out from each one..

basically feeling fantabulous, super energy, talkative, clearer thoughts and focus. if u truly have adhd it will supposedly have the opposite effect and calm u.

I did at first not as strong as the sensations you got but I take 6 of the 30mg tablets (quick release) and 1 of the XRs (extended release) and I still sleep for 18 to 20 hours per day. If you can motivate yourself to get up and do something they seem to kick in better and you can feel them better or should I say they work better. Usually I don't feellike getting out of bed or going anywhere or doing anything I have to push myself to get up to fix a sandwh. I think you get amund to any drug no matter how big or small of dose you take. I hope this helps answer your question.

O wow!!! Exactly correct you are Sir. My Doctor put me on Amphetamine SAlt Combo,15mg,peach tablets,and I feel similarly as you. Lol! I thought I'd be able to go to Sleep.... Absolutely not! Instead,ended up tossing and turning,sometimes sweating. Oh,I took 2 as well. Finally,walked my stepson a block away to school. I don't like it. Too Wired!

That's funny cuz I fee the exact way as you I called my pharmacy & they said this is the generic for Aderol! It makes me focused and able to finish a task but it makes my bf

If you're having trouble sleeping you can also take Melatonin 5- 10 mg but for children they get the 3mg dose. My son is on the D-amphetamine salt combo 10 mg (oval light blue pill) and it was very hard for him to get to sleep. He has to take 1 pill in the morning then one at noon and I'd say around 4 or 5pm its wearing off and he's bouncing off the walls again. When he laid down to go to sleep, he was constantly jumping up with things like, " I've gotta pee! ,I want something to drink! ,etc" Its like his brain does not want to shut down so he can sleep. So I called the on call nurse and she said usually people with ADHD do not produce enough natural melatonin to help them go to sleep so she's the one that suggested the Melatonin 3mg for him. But anyone can take Melatonin beings it is something our body is supposed to produce. I had first heard about melatonin though through my dad. He also takes it to help him sleep and he suffers from anxiety attacks. So I heavily suggest melatonin for anyone having trouble sleeping as a first result before taking any other harsh chemicals. I literally started the D-amphetamine salt combo 20 mg tonight and at first I had eaten some food before taking it. Specifically chilli, mostly high in protein and fat, I took 60 mg (recreational dose) to try it. Not the right thing to do the first time you take a new medication but I came from vyvase which had some good factors for me, but the bad side effects outweighed the good on the 50 mg vyvanse after about a month of taking it but its not a bad mediction by all means, i suppose it will run adderall and this generic crap into the ground pretty quick if they lessen the price, but anyway my doc quickly perscribed the salt combo 20 mg. Which to his knowledge is about the same dosage as the vyvanse. I liked the vyvanse for the first week with little euphoria and getting things done but it quickly turned into a nonstop insomnia fest. Alomg with erectile disfunction and alot of other bad things my body cant handle. Im am addict (and my doc openly knows this) so it seemed like a good idea at first but as soon as the bad side effects hit and I stopped feeling the euphoric high and getting things done like im on top of the world I quickly told my doc and he switched me to what was supposed to be adderall IR 20 mg, turns out the pharmacy had to do a prior authorization first and it would be 2 to 4 days without meds. I do have severe anxiety and panic disorder along with ADHD so that wasent goin to fly with me. But turns out the pharmacy had this generic stuff called D-amphetamine salt combo which is supposedly the same thing but I wouldn't know the difference between the name brand or generic so I broke in half 3 pills and debated on taking another but I don't want to go into crazy mode so I just tried 60 mg. At first on a stomach that had metabolize about 3 oz of chilli gave me little shakiness and strange feeling. Not like any hard street amphetamine I have tried and tried and tried so it was weird at first. I have been on it for 3 hours now and ate a little more food and I had a few beers and got to know my neighbors a little and started feeling a little buz but off of 60 mg it was not much of a euphoria like I thought it would be. It's supposed to be basically the same thing as adderall from what I have researched and trust me I did my research.

So I can relate to the shakiness and waves of focus like mentioned above but not much amph feeling like I was hoping for, but the main reason I wanted something els was the length of time the vyvase lasted. For like 14 hours and the come down was smoth but the sleep didn't exist anymore in my frantic mind. Sor maybe these little instant release ones are good for just taking like your supposed To. Maybe it's a sign from God saying look here. You got all you want but can't feel what you want. Weird but for the first time. I can focus better without feeling crazy or diluted or like a shinning star. It was is more of a quick hit of coke and a few beers. But last about 5 times longer than coke. Maybe the food will help your shakiness and definitely don't drink on this stuff. I like it but I love lsd or shrooms, along with some uppers. I think this med will be kept strictly for medical purposes for me. Not worth having a heart attack over getting a little buz. So in reality I have no idea if this is like the actual adderall. All the adderall I have had was some bought in welding school from a kid and those were time released capsule with about 3 or 4 of the high dosage ones I was good for like 6 to 7 hrs. I am probably on the wrong thread but just eat a little food before you take them or right afer you take your meds and it might help. And like I said I'm a drug abuser of 13 years going on 14 so my experience will be different than yalls. I do like that I think I will be able to sleep tonight and go to work welding tomorrow with one or 2 of these in my system. Noted I have very dry mouth but no since of euphoria? All the symptoms but not the same. Strange reaction to it though. Mabye Its because I just got off a 2 day run of shard... anyway be safe and always have a higher power. Mines God. Say what you want about me cause I'm open about drug abuse and my faith but keep this in mind. Would someone with 14 years bad experiences and overdoses and hospitalizations contemplate on God? Not me my friend. I know I'm being watched out for so good luck with the meds. Hope everything gets better to. Also I take daily 2, 1 mg clonazipam for anxiety and sometimes ambian. All I know is ya get what you pay for and this was about half the cost of actual aderrall. God, Guns, and Guitar.

Yes I do. Only have been on it for a month.
Don't like the up & down feeling. Especially when the second Kick comes about the time my chores are done & I want to chill
With my boyfriend.
And me being focused makes it hard to deal with his OCD.

It is untrue that the FDA only allows generic drugs to have 80% of the drug content as compared to the brand name medication. All generics must have the same amount of active ingredients as the brand name. The FDA reviews the generic company's manufacturing records to ensure the drug levels are the same, and results must show that the generic has the same potency as the brand name. The only difference between a generic and brand name (besides price) can be shape, color, and possibly release profile. However the release go the generic is also compared to the brand name and must meet a strict requirement in the lab in addition to bioequivalency studies where both drugs are compared human blood levels to show comparison of availability.

yes im on amphet salt for adhd im 44 yr old. they just uped my dose to 40 mg. im hoping I loose wieght. did you? if so how much and what time frame. it does feel odd to not feel wierd after so many years of everything , literally everything being a task, even vacations were a task. decorating for holidays etc. I just thought everyone was like that or that it was stress. I would see older people though and think OMG they like doing tihngs? whats wrong with me? then I got this med, now I know THEY were just normal people and my issue was adhd.

I've used all of the above. Frankly the Adderall XR 30 mg. is the longest sustaining of any. Also you may want to try Desoxyn. aka. Methamphetamine hydrochloride. Typically used for narcolepsy. I can take the Adderall XR and powder it up to put in my coffee she fly like an eagle

If you are a college student you will probably stay up all night and really study. It makes some people feel 'zippy'. They are very addicting, not to mention expensive on the open market. My advice, find another way to get where you wanna go. I learned the hard way.

It would seem to me that your dose may be to strong. Check with your Dr., I had both side effects. Clean non stop and concentrate to the point i would not budge if on a desk task. No potty breaks, no food breaks etc. i was the energizer bunny einstein. Lol
Dr reduced my mg. now i am back to normal. GL

Dextroamphetamine is not Adderall. Dexedrine is a VERY different medication for me than Adderall or Vyvanse. I've been on ADHD medication for about 21 years and have tried Dexedrine, Adderall, Vyvanse & Ritalin. Dexedrine is the only one that has ever worked.
