Cyclobenzaprine A Opiate?

My boy friend is coming off of pain killers , higher doses other known as oxys if he takes these 10mg yellow pills will this mess with him? He is on day 4

Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) is not an opiate, it is a muscle relaxer.

Please excuse me If I'm misinterpreting your post, as it's very difficult to make complete sense of certain details mentioned within your description re: "My boy friend is coming off of pain killers , higher doses other known as oxys".

However, IF your boyfriend was ever intending on taking Cyclobenzaprine with Oxycodone, I personally wouldn't recommend doing so, since there are known drug interactions between the two medications. Specifically, causing an increased risk of side effects, such as drowsiness, difficulty breathing, digestive tract problems, lightheadedness, abdominal pain, nausea, and more (according to umm.edu's drug interaction checker).

On the other hand, if the benefits outweigh the risks, his doctor may be able to change the dose and/or how frequently he takes either medication in order to help minimize the chance of experiencing these undesirable side effects.
