I've been using astymin forte 200 for my diabetes insipidus for the past 3 days. Yesterday I cut my finger with a knife and today the whole finger aches. Should I discontinue using astymin?

Hello, Princessa! How are you?

Astymin Forte is a nutritional supplement, so it will not help treat diabetes, nor should it contribute to pain from a cut. The FDA lists the typical side effects of supplements as typically including nausea, due to their potency.

Did you clean the cut?

If the whole finger is hurting, you may want to have your doctor look it, you might have developed an infection.
